The game against Pitts its pretty obvious but if you want me to tell you, THE ONLY GOAL.
Yesterday?? Has Price was on his ass ll game long, i let you choose one of the five. - soad_live
Valid point.
He didn't even move on that 5th goal, just stood there on his ass... |

I'd say the one where he ducked for cover (the first goal) was pretty funny. - Pecafan Fan
Yeah, Price has always been afraid of that hard rubber thing flying his way. |

Watch it again.
Edit: for the record I would have done the same thing as him (try not to get that puck in the face) but I'm not paid 6.5 million per year to be an NHL goalie... |

come on man the Habs D at one point gave the Bs two 2 on 1s in a row and a few breakways as well....Price needs to not be left hanging, the Crosby goal he had Tinordi in front of him who commited a rookie mistake by giving CROSBY of all people too much space....Price is currently NOT our problem imo |

Montreal: Where goalies are always the problem.
Do fans realize how many GM's would take Price over their goalies? |

Doesn't it piss you off though when you see them duck? I guess they probably can't help it as instinct kicks in. The Reiminister of Defense always seems to be (frank)ing ducking.
(I didn't see the play you are talking about, so maybe his helmet fell off or something. The more I think about my point the more dumb it sounds. I'd duck too) |

interesting points made here
"The two biggest deals prior to the trade deadline have seen two players choose Pittsburgh over Boston.
Why is that? Is the chance to play on the same team as Sidney Crosby just so overwhelming? The Bruins won the Stanley Cup just two years ago and have a fairly talented roster themselves, not to mention one of the most deepest organizations in the NHL as well as a passionate fanbase.
The Bruins also have Jeremy Jacobs.
The Bruins owner is one of the most intimidating men in the league and he played a key role in the lockout. Jacobs was a hawk who advocated taking draconian measures with the players so the NHL could get a knockout win over the NHLPA.
Jacobs may not have been a puppeteer pulling the strings and making commissioner Gary Bettman dance to his tune, but he certainly had the commissioner's ear.
Jacobs was all business during the lockout and he made no attempt to hide his contempt for NHLPA leader Donald Fehr.
Perhaps the chickens are coming home to roost.
If you were an NHL player and you had a chance to play for Penguins owner Ron Burkle, who attempted to unlock the negotiations early on in the process, or Jacobs, who would you choose?
This is a theory and is not being put forth as fact.
But all players who are traded go through a mental checklist, especially when they have a voice in where they will be playing next.
Playing for an owner who was most instrumental in them not receiving a paycheck for the first three-plus months of the season might not be their top choice.
Don't expect Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli or head coach Claude Julien to acknowledge this. It's not in their best interests.
But it's obvious that the players have not forgotten the stance that Jacobs took during the lockout and it may cost the Bruins dearly." - Habitants98

He wasn't the main factor in last year's poopty season, and he isn't a main factor in this year's division lead. Until now, he has been as good as the team in front of him. I know he's only 25 and that he'll likely get better, but saying that right now we can find nothing wrong in his play is ludicrous. |

I wasn't aware Price was considered a problem last year.
Edit: I know people want him to be better, and on some nights he should be.
But he's playing well enough to give us a chance to win every game. |

Every player can improve on his play, especially goaltenders. But only in Montreal do goalies go from being heros to zeros in a flash. Habs fans are similar to women where you can do everything for them but the moment you mess up you've NEVER done any good. Emotions are a beautiful thing. |
