Outside of Morrow, they gave up jack poop in terms of prospects.

Shero should stop dealing with Nieuwendyk. He usually comes up on the short end of the stick. That Goligoski trade really has to sting Pens fans.

Looks like they wanted some veterans to keep everyone in line and avoid a repeat of last years first round

For the last 16 games of the season, we might have to rename this site musicbuzz to keep ourselves sane. I honestly did not see the team being this bad.

I don't think anyone saw this coming. Everything that could go wrong has.

The reason the Flyers beat them is they got in their heads and got them off their game. They had Crosby knocking guys gloves away and Neal and Malkin taking suspendable runs at guys.

If they stay disciplined and don't get to running around, they win the Stanley Cup.

That's what happens in a shortened season when you don't get off on the right foot. Snowball effect

I wasn't feeling great about the way this team went out against the Devils last year and didn't feel too good when they didn't get Weber.

I still thought they'd make the playoffs, though. Frankly, I thought we'd get more from Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier, and I suspect I'm not the only one who thought that (*looks at Paul Holmgren*).

That said, just because both of the those players had kinda rough years doesn't mean I want them out. They are still incredibly young.

Wow, that blueline for tonight's game is enough to put the fear of God in to even the most stalwart of Flyers faithful.

Imagine if they had traded Coburn for picks already.

Lots of work in store for Homer this offseason.

Morrow and iginla should certainly help. Sounds like Calgary made the iginla move more for Jerome than the organization, unless they weren't getting better offers

They also need to not catch the injury bug.

Iginla controlled where he went so they had to accept the best offer the Pens would give them or lose him for nothing in the offseason. Couldn't force Iginla to go anywhere. Gotta love NMCs.

There really is (was) no reason for anyone to come back too early from injury this year. And everyone seemingly did.

There were four teams he'd accept. So it was the best offer from among the four teams.

The quote about inflatables is one of my favorite DLR quotes.

I also love the story about brown M&Ms.

They had rough years, some vets had rough years, the coach didn't come up with any effective adjustments, they jumped and signed Foster instead of a guy like Wade Redden at least has mobility and experience as a top defenseman.

Maybe we can get LA to take him off our hands as part of the future considerations from the Roenick deal

Him and Coburn have been awful this year, but at least they haven't got injured. They'll be logging plenty of minutes next season, too.

Sugar, Starch, Grease, Fat and Alcohol.

93.3 WMMR used to put out a cookbook. They'd get the DJ's and various music acts to submit recipes for it. Dave's recipe was to go to McDonald's and get a couple cheeseburgers.
