It def is. Again though. LA doesnt want Pommer. Good player yes. But not our kind of guy. Unless its a Williams for Pommer type of trade. |

Purcell is worth more than Stafford based on production, and Connolly + a potential top-5 pick is worth more than Miller given his contract having only one more year and the rumors that he might not be totally happy. - Michael_Stuart

Your hope deal severely overvalues Stafford and Leopold, while undervaluing Purcell. Purcell is a 60+ point guy.

if the kings are going to give up bernier and toffoli, arguably the top two prospects in their system, its going to be for a hell of a lot more than pominville and regehr. the third rounder wouldn't be nearly enough to compensate.

I think being Pommer isn't what you are looking for doesn't make the deal work for you. |

It's a sellers market. You get a 70pt guy and a 20 minute physical defenseman. |

2nd and a conditional 3rd isn't exactly a reach for Regehr either. That's probably what they've been offered to this point anyways. TFP saying Darcy Regier's asking for a high end prospect and high draft pick. He's this years Gaustad except that no trade clause might prevent the Sabres from getting a lot of value for him. |

Not sure ownership wants to take on additional salary (especially that much). |

How much is Miller worth in a trade? The Leafs should be going for him too... |

We're talking about Darcy Regier here. If the Lightning and Sabres are actually in serious negotiations you better believe the only way Regier continues with this is if Yzerman is willing to part with one of Conacher/Connolly. |

I'd say a good prospect (or young NHLer), a pick and a roster player. Darcy Regier may want something else in return though. |

I believe I saw that as a deal thrown out there by someone moderately reputable on Twitter (forgive me, I forget who it was). |
