I still don't see how this is can possibly be a good trade for the flames. The last think we needed was another undersized player. The 1st rounder is nice but it will be a late pick. I was definitely expecting more. Spooner and a 1st would have been a much better trade. |

Im just going by reports ive seen online of prospects from every organization. Plus ive seen bart play here and there (not as much as you) and I feel if he is the main piece to this then thats bad on calgary for accepting it... but we shall see...

No problem, they're certainly not high profile guys. Bart I see as the "B" prospect in this deal and Koko IMO is the real prize. I was looking forward to seeing him in Boston but realistically with Spooner ahead of him on the depth chart and performing well and the young depth the B's have at C, he would be in tough to crack the roster. |

He actually plays a reasonably heavy game and once he puts on some pounds should be at least average size. Not afraid to get dirty. |

Having said that, saying they got fleeced? Join the bandwagon saying Kipper is an evil evil man under the bridge for refusing a 2nd rd return.
Fair trade. iggy is a 2nd liner at best on a good team, flames get potential #1 C along with a potential low 1st rd pick and a depth d prospect that is a throw in
Queue the haters. Mostly Flames fans who also now hate Kipper.
