This comes with usual "anything can happen" qualifier but multiple sources saying not to expect a Jarome Iginla trade tonight. - nh4442
Which is to be expected. Either team will want to have a press conference. I say noon tomorrow. |

As I stated on the main thread, f Canadian twitter star McKenzie.
He has pretty much devolved to hits- Ek hits- to keep ppl following.
THE TRADE WAS DONE OVER 3 HRS AGO
So, yeah, it's cool to continue to fish this to make yourself look good.
McKenzie is a narcissist and a fool. |

I really fawking hope they wait for this game to end to announce it. Iginla deserves it.
Oddly enough, the team is playing more free and less stressed than I have seen much of the yr. |

I hope that the deal is better than the one McKenzie reported. 1st, Khoklachev and Bartkowski? Feaster deserves to be fired if that's what he negotiated for an 11 consecutive season 30 goal scorer.
I thought it sucked being a Leafs fan, but being a Calgary fan would suck if that's the deal. |

You must believe him walking at the end of the season as a UFA would be the better decision i assume... |

Nah, its a done deal. Likely just working out either an extension or something...most teams prefer to release this kind of stuff around noon the next day when most people are paying attention and not almost asleep(moreso for Boston). |

Trying to put next season's team together. It looks to be worse than this one. We have an excellent shot at McDavid. |

McDavid is in 2 years. Next year should be Sam Reinhart. |

Noway is Calg taking on a Crappy 1st round pick, a career AHL dman and a under sized Russian prospect. Cant believe the Kings cant top that with Bernier and Shore. That alone is a better value. |

Craig Button said those two prospects are not difference makers. He seems to think the trade will be a steal for the Bruins. - flamminghead
Its sad for Flames fans to see Iggy go...but this should be an exciting day as well... Your franchise has kick started its rebuild... good young pieces coming your way.

Koko, I believe, was the youngest player taken in that draft. Many speculate that had he had an earlier birthday and/or shifted drafts he would have easily been a 1st rounder. Pretty well regarded as a steal of a pick for the B's so that shouldn't be over looked.
I've liked Bart in what I've seen of him, solid, physical, little bit of offensive upside. He's a bottom 4 guy but should be a serviceable NHLer and Wisebrod was instrumental in getting him to Boston.
I'm thrilled with this trade but it's a stretch to say Calgary didn't get good assets here. |

Im just going by reports ive seen online of prospects from every organization. Plus ive seen bart play here and there (not as much as you) and I feel if he is the main piece to this then thats bad on calgary for accepting it... but we shall see...
thanks for the input on the guys |
