I think the only reason we need is the return. Bartowski is not going to be anything better than a 5-6 d-man. Khocrochev is maybe a second line center but undersized. Report on him is that he is also not a great skater. Not a great combination. And then the CONDITIONAL first rounder. I mean are you seriously saying flames could not have gotten better. I agree that sutter would have done worse but that really isnt saying much. The bruins offered koko + a 2nd rounder for MORROW. Are you seriously saying that iggy is worth almost the same as morrow?

Reminds me of the Eric Johnson, Jay McClement, & 11th overall pick to Colorado for Shattenkirk, Stewart, & Colorado's 2nd (early 2nd round that landed Ty Rattie); it seems like a lopsided trade initially, but when prospects/picks are involved, who knows how it will play out. Remember how Philly got the best of Quebec in the Lindros deal? What team went on to win cups?
