Other than Stamkos, the only thing they have there that I would want is currently a top pick in this years draft. If they move Miller there, that pick likely ends up outside of the top 5 where they currently sit. That makes it not so great of a return.

You can't take an asset like Miller and just give him away. It defeats the whole purpose of moving him in the first place. If that's what they're going to do, then they might as well just let him play out the last year of his contract here and let him walk at the end of it.

i just hate how ruff rides everyone and people hate it, but if rolston does it, then it's okay. scotty bowman was an absolute jerk to his players but he made them better and they won the cup multiple times. it's pretty clear to me we have the wrong players but only some of them, we need to get rid of the garbage and uninspired (two different categories).
