It's comical. Every bit the disgrace the eagles were.

They'll probably throw an offer at him, but the favorites seem to be Edmonton and Detroit.

highest salary in the league and one of the worst records...smells like mismanagement to me.

I worry about coaching and lineup changes that might cause them to go on a streak. Right now I feel pretty good sounds like their holding the fort
- Just5

I don't mind them not firing Laviolette for the very reason that they might go on a run with a new coach. I worry about Couturier's development though.

Well at least Bynum worked out well. The Sixers are going places!

I wonder what the price tag is on him.

Hopefully more then the Flyers are willing to pay.

Apparently Kiprusoff is going to retire and go back to Finland rather than play for $1.5 million next year. He's only 36, but his stats this year are awful: 3.43, .873.

Makes you wonder about the last two years of Bryzgalov's deal when he is only due to be paid $3.5 million total. He'll be 38, and unlike Kiprusoff, there would be a recapture penalty of just over $4 million for each of the 18-19 and 19-20 seasons.

Not a fan? Admittedly, I don't know much about the player.

In my opinion, neither of those 2 players are that good that they would make a significant difference to the current team.
- MJL

Ans as I said, they wouldn't turn the team around, just that they'd be upgrades over players currently on the roster. And maybe the addition of those 2 buys us 2-3 wins in games where we blew 3rd period leads/ties, which at least puts them in the mix for the playoffs. Are you saying that's 100% false?

If Bryz continues to be inconsistent, I'd say he gets bought out. Maybe give him 2014 and re-evaluate in the offseason.

Haven't seen him play lately. But he's always been a train wreck defensively. Not the player they need in my opinion.

I guess the 3 million next year scared teams off.

I love Bryz's personality and philosophies on life but it hasn't worked out for him here. I didn't think we would be getting a top 5 goalie but I did expect to get a lot better than this.

I adore the guy, and when he's on top of his game, he's been stellar. I want to see him play behind a more defensively sound system/scheme before biting the bullet.

So you don't thinkt hat 2 veterans such as Jagr and Carle turn any of those 3rd period ties/leads that have been blown into wins? That is impossible?
