Blow it up let the youth drive the bus for the rest of the season. Who knows maybe make some noise with a bunch of unproven talent. Working fine for leafs and Habs.

i'm fine with that, and i hope the moves they make in the offseason are the right ones...including whomever they draft in the first round.

Might not know for a number of years if who they draft in the first round is the right move.

I'd definitely let the kids assume larger roles for the rest of this year, but I don't want to blow the team up. I think they have talent.

OEL as well?
- isaiah520

in hindsight, yes

PHX would never have done it, and I suspect MTL wouldn't either.

Issue with the clock. It wasn't started on time.

Thanks for the explanation. The karma is just awful in that building right now.

What's with the surprise? Told you guys a month ago about their chances to make the playoffs. They had to win almost every game not against tampa, nj, and nyr.

Love him, Florida isn't moving him, though.

Ottawa has 3 good goalies. Bishop could be a good time splitter, and Robin Lehner is a young kid and firey.

its a shame with going to the cup a few years ago and this fast we have so many holes, we went from elite to toilet.

im not supersticious, but am starting to believe we are cursed...every year we get a new player who was awesome on there other team and come here and suck or face career ending injury.

not to mention our last couple captains downfalls.

Edit: Seravelli guesses the Flyers were scouting Burns. Article had no sources or quotes saying that is who the Flyers were watching. Editorial disguised as actual journalism.

Oh, I see it now!

No, but f'reals, I think we've all come to terms with this team's fate, and not within the last 24 hours. Bryz correctly identified their last chance to turn things around, imo.

I'd nab him if I was the Caps or Jets for sure.

Makes sense. I'm going to say Columbus grabs him.

I'm totally cool with them losing. I think it's in the best interest for the team to finish in the bottom 5 than to go on a run and finish 1-3 spots out of the playoffs or even make the playoffs.

Not much left to do but worry about the draft lottery. We will be in good shape if we can draft mackinnon

I worry about coaching and lineup changes that might cause them to go on a streak. Right now I feel pretty good sounds like their holding the fort
