This team just is just weak, from top to bottom. They are an embarrassment. Last night I shut the game off at 2-0, knowing there wasn't a chance of a come back.

I can think of two players that have been good this year, Rinaldo and Simmonds. Really Rinaldo is the only one on the team that deserves credit this year.

What I was getting at myself.

On a team that is supposed to have a bunch of talent, arguably the guy with the lowest amount of talent has been the most consistent. Big credit to Rinaldo. I also think Luke Schenn has been pretty damn good for being thrown into the fire.

Yeah, Voracek has sucked ass

The beginning of the year he did. Very few players have been consistent this year.

Darnell Nurse just crushed Daniel Catenacci into the stanchion

A beautiful hit.

I agree. So the question is what does that tell us? That they need to make wholesale changes to the roster? Or that there is some other issue.

Penguins and Bruins each going for their second Cup since 09, meanwhile Flyers are going head first into the boards in practice. Comical really.

Honestly, what can you do. Look at the bright side. You got your wish. Gustafsson was recalled.

This has been an issue for awhile. Problem is the team had a young core that took a step back this year. Call it a sophomore slump or whatever and the blue line is just a joke. I like Luke Schenn, but I bet there are 4-5 people on here that could play better then the d the Flyers are dressing.

I'm sorry but this team is an embarrassment. No heart no soul just all fold.

Here is the way I look at it. Regardless they have to draft. Even if they were having a very good year. And whoever they draft, it's going to take time for that player to develop. The Flyers are going to make some kind of move. They always do. I think it will be at the draft or in the off season. One of the young forwards on the team likely won't be here next Season.

Simmonds has been very poor 5 on 5, guess they've all sucked.

If the Flyers draft Jones I dont want him touching NHL ice for at least one year.

Would prefer 2 or more.

I kinda wanted Gustafsson to replace Gervais, like months ago. At this point the season comes down to watching young kids to see if they can start making some strides in the last 16 games.

He's likely able to play in the NHL, but he'd need to be shielded like Boston has done with Hamilton to some extent

Being ready to play in the NHL. And being a top lead defenseman, are two different things.

Not Rinaldo. I know you know your hockey, is there anyone besides Rinaldo that can be proud of their season? I think Luke Schenn has been good for the most part.

From what I've watched he'll be in the NHL but probably would really benefit from another year in Portland.

The Bruins vs Habs game is pretty damn good.

What would it take , realistically , to get Subban besides the Canadians being dumb and willing to trade him.

Can you imagine if Edmonton gets another top 3 pick? They are collecting some stable of young talent. If they get some dmen, when they mature they could be scary.
