I want him to use it only when necessary and it's the right play. Defenseman skates the puck up ice, turns it over in the neutral zone, or makes a bad pass. Defenseman is caught, resulting in an odd man rush for the opposition. It's one thing when you have a Doughty, or Karlsson. Defenseman like Coburn, should outlet the puck to the forwards. Keep the gap tight. And play as a 5 man unit |

Honestly he's trying his best to not get people riled up. 2 Bruins prospects were scratched as well. Iginla will be traded tonight!!!
When was the last time a star player just "sat out" a game to "protect the asset" cant remember the last time that happened
Plus this would've been Iginla's last home game with the Flames... and hes NEVER injured...
