He has a no-trade clause, that entitles him to say no. Fester should have had this conversation with Kipper before shopping him instead of having Kippers name dragged through the mud.

This was one of many of Sutter's 'great' contracts, lol.

Cap geek says he has one, although cap geek has been wrong...from time to time.

I don't. I think they'd likely want a younger guy, like bernier or bishop, who are cheaper and better, and fit better with their roster. Failing that, there are 3-4 real solid ufa's this summer.

There are so many goalies available that i dont think kipper has any real value

Kiprusoff would fetch something worthwhile if it was made known that he will play. No doubt in my mind.

No. His NMC was 2011-12. It's over.

He will finish the year in Calgary. Retire and play in Finland for fun for a while.

Obviously we'll never know, but i feel thst the combination of age, huge cap hit, term left on deal (with cap going down), and really poopty play, would make it REALLY hard to move him. Especially with so many better options available. Just my opinion.

With that being said.....what do you guys want from otfawa for bouwmeester.

This is exactly what is wrong with the culture of the team. Kipper has no heart left--no real desire to win...just to play for a middling team and collect his final paycheque. He has been paid very well for many years. If he didn't want to be traded in his final years, he should have negotiated for a full no-trade over the term of the contract. This is bull poop.

If he won't report, then just do everyone a favour and retire.

he makes 1.5 million next year...Flames are giving up a ridiculous amount of chances right now they have 2 centers in their lineup. Watch the game tonight, he let in a softy early but has since made about 5 10 bell saves

not surprised by it. My initial reaction was that he's off the table with his new kid.

The guy has held the team together long enough that he deserves to play where he wants.

That being said iggy for bernier/voynov is sounding good.

I wish minny was on the list though. Iggy/Coumeau for coyle/clutterbuck/1st would be nice.

What's the point...only to worsen our pick? He's useless to us now.

I have a hard time believing that someone with numbers as bad as his is playing well. Perhaps he's not playing AS BAD as the nembers indicate, but please dont try go tell me he's playing well

you need to take into consideration hes playing in front of a Flames team who have had nothing but defensive collapse, after defensive collapses...

It's an argument a segment of our fan base uses to embrace nostolgia. He has been poor this season.
