I do too. Moncton has the team for a long playoff run. They are tied 1-1 with Victoriaville in their series, and are playing right now. Danault had a huge game two.

I agree. I don't think that the absence of Sharp in and of itself is the cause of the mediocre record. I think it's more that by slotting players higher to cover for his absence they no longer have half as good of a fourth line and can't roll all four like they used to be able to.

Since Sharp was injured, the Hawks are 3-4-0. Coincidence?

They seem to be in tough against Brandon Whitney but I don't see them bowing out against Victoriaville..

I wonder if the Hawks are waiting on Danault's junior season to end so they can bring him up to be the center a lot of us are pining for.

I've been thinking that for awhile. Memorial Cup final ends May 26 if his team even makes it that far. Not too farfetched to think the Hawks might be thinking they can use the kid in the playoffs if necessary rather than give up picks and prospects for a so-so playoff rental.

I'd like Shawn Matthias off the Panthers. His face off % isn't any better that Bolland or Shaw, but he's the only plus on a horrible Panthers team full of minus players.

You really learn a lot about players when there are injuries. With all the injuries to the cats, Matthias has really stepped up with more icetime. To me, he has been their most consistent forward. Plus he is only 25. If he was included in that rumor JJ posted about Mueller and Shore for TT I might do it. Matthias and Shore plus another player for TT and something.

I'd be all for Bolland and McNeil to PHX for Vermette. Only about $400K more in cap space, and true #2C, with a good FO% and can play on the PK/PP.

Not sure if that would get it done, but PHX get's a good shut down C, more cap space, and a good C prospect in return...Then add a Matt Martin or a Hendricks for some size/grit for a package of prospects not named TT, Danault, Johns, and a pick
