How the heck did this even transpire. Iggy had to have selected the Penguins. There is no other excuse. for Agostino, Hanowski and a 1st????? This is insane, Shero is a GGGGOOOODDDDDDDD!!!!!!

I am in shock, I was stoked with Morrow and Murray. I thought we had a great shot with those two. Jerome Iginla WhooooooooHooooooooo. Let's Go Baby!!!!!

Already on a 13 game win streak, Geno getting ready to come back.

Penguin fans...SPOILED Freaking Rotten!!!!!!

This is exactly what I was thinking. He might have gave 4 teams a few days ago until he seen the Pens add Morrow, and Murray I bet that gave him his answer!!

“The team on paper doesn’t mean too much,” Shero said. “We have to do it on the ice.”

While I'm not sleeping anytime soon. A Huge thank you to Parise, Suter and Doan for not wanting to be a Penguin. This is 10X better. Thanks boys.

Long road ahead, but I love the group we are putting on the ice.

Way better indeed, my friend! Who would of thought this could happen to the team we love? This is like the Ulfie and Francis trade. Unreal!

Ray Shero may not have the key to Pittsburgh but I know for sure he has the keys to Dallas and Calgary.

Holy moley! Aaron Ward had me heartbroken. Bob McKenzie reminded me to be cool and for the first time ever Ek reminded me that I shouldn't always trust even the most reliable sources. This is unbelievable. For Calgary's sake I do hope that Agostino and Hanowski help them. I truly do. I've heard great things about Agostino.

Haha, I have the exact same feeling I did when Ulf and Francis came to Pittsburgh, complete jaw dropping trades. It's a great day to be a Penguin fan!!!

This reminds me of the 93-93 team....loaded. Us old timers remember what happened to them

I don't think this group has accomplished enough to get complacent. Throw on the fact Iginla, Morrow and Murray have not had the pleasure of hoisting the cup. They will be hungry.

Only thing pens should be worried about is focus. They lost focus last year when Crosby came back and started getting into those shootout style games. They have to keep their current focus on defense first. The veterans should help control that though

So I am expecting to see Murray in tonight for his first Pitt appearance, and I am assuming Iggy will be playing against the Isles for his on Sat?

Call me stunned. Words can't be put in place now. I never had anything against Iginla. Damn good player. I didn't like the idea of trading huge assets for a rental that really wasn't needed.

This package is on par with a rental. A first and two prospects that weren't ranked among our top 10. He didn't cave giving up a Maatta, a Pouliot, a Harrington, a Domoullin, Bennett, Despres ...

He will return to calgary next year. If he wasn't returning, Pittsburgh would have had to put one of the top prospects in there. I seriously doubt he will be a Penguin next year. Better win his Cup ow.

So ...

Kunitz, Crosby, Dupes
Iggy, Malkin, Neal
Morrow, Sutter, Cooke
Kennedy, Vitale and whoever

I have never even heard of those prospects.

I guess if you are gonna do that, thats how you do it.

Who really cares though. We have 10 guys who can interchange on the top 3 lines. Thats awesome.

Who says no one comes to Pittsburgh to play with Crosby?

Saw Agostino play at Yale. He isn't bad. Hankowski is better than Agostino IMO. Still, not a prospect among our top 10 heading into this season.

I guess Shero doesn't have to show up for the draft this year.
