No way that'd happen.

Hemsky and Whitney would get into a slap-fight over who got to board the plane first to Boston and, as a result, would both end up injured and fail their respective physicals.

As much as I think they are douche bags, I think Carter and Richards in LA make it. Carter is having a big year as a sniper and Richards would be your 3rd-line checker/PK'er.

Not sure about the lines, but I'd definetly have Crosby as a C. Better at Faceoffs than a lot of others on that list.

There is no player on the Chicago roster that Winnipeg would do a one for one deal, including Toews. Toews would be of interest because he is a Winnipeg boy but the Hawks would have to add something to the package.

There are very few players in the entire league that would entice me to deal Kane.

Karlsson yes

Doughty maybe

Crosby maybe but worry about head trauma

Power forwards are exceptional. They don't hit their prime till they are about 26. This kid is still four to five years away from peak performance and people are thinking that he could be a trade deadline player. Absurd!

Why me? I happen to value Evander Kane alot. We he is young power forward who could amount to something big. I saw the post. It's over the top, but people are missing his point. Why on earth would Winnipeg consider trading him? He is young; he is a stud and the Jets are probably going to the play-offs. Chicago would only be sending picks and prospects, which would be dumb for the Jets to consider.

Probably so. Giving up that 2nd rounder instead of a 3rd may have something to do with it. If he performs well though, who knows? Could be interesting.

Dupuis has the advantage of having chemistry with Sid Stempniak has a cool name and all but I can see better options right now for a cup run.

Clowe is garbage. He is a UFA too boot. We have added our toughness. You want this piece of crap, but poo poo stempniak? Stempy's asking price is cheaper and he isn't a rental. He could play on the third line easily or second line. That is, if Shero is still truly looking for another winger.
