Wonder if a combo of Ales Hemsky and Ryan Whitney are on Bruins radar if things fall thru on Iginla talks? Both could be useful #BruinsTalk
God, please let it happen...
The Pens got harder to play against, it would be great if the Bruins got easier to play against. |

No way that'd happen.
Hemsky and Whitney would get into a slap-fight over who got to board the plane first to Boston and, as a result, would both end up injured and fail their respective physicals. |

As much as I think they are douche bags, I think Carter and Richards in LA make it. Carter is having a big year as a sniper and Richards would be your 3rd-line checker/PK'er.
Not sure about the lines, but I'd definetly have Crosby as a C. Better at Faceoffs than a lot of others on that list. - s0rcerer1984
I'm sorry...I put my lines in this order:
C - LW - RW
Forgot about Richards...guess he would make the team. No Carter please |

Oneonta, I thought this would be something you HAVE to comment on...about E.Kane..
There is no player on the Chicago roster that Winnipeg would do a one for one deal, including Toews. Toews would be of interest because he is a Winnipeg boy but the Hawks would have to add something to the package.
There are very few players in the entire league that would entice me to deal Kane.
Stamkos yes
Tavares yes
Karlsson yes
Doughty maybe
Crosby maybe but worry about head trauma
Giroux no
Some of the Edmonton kids no, never,
Bobby Ryan you joke
Power forwards are exceptional. They don't hit their prime till they are about 26. This kid is still four to five years away from peak performance and people are thinking that he could be a trade deadline player. Absurd! - Orpik44
Why me? I happen to value Evander Kane alot. We he is young power forward who could amount to something big. I saw the post. It's over the top, but people are missing his point. Why on earth would Winnipeg consider trading him? He is young; he is a stud and the Jets are probably going to the play-offs. Chicago would only be sending picks and prospects, which would be dumb for the Jets to consider.

Probably so. Giving up that 2nd rounder instead of a 3rd may have something to do with it. If he performs well though, who knows? Could be interesting. - HopintheCordoba
He isn't coming to pittsburgh to win a skating contest. He is here to clear the crease and knock people around.

Depaoli reporting Pens scouts at flames game tonight but looking at Glencross possibly. They are def not there for Iginla well because you know what youre getting with him no need for scouting |

He would be so much cheaper..I assume
If he comes, good! Can play 2nd and 3rd line...will make us more dangerous than we already are |

I would LOVE Glencross. Calgary isn't dealing him though. I wonder if Stempniak would be a solution.

So, you must not like Dupuis' game then because Stempy is a younger version with a little more scoring ability.

Dupuis has the advantage of having chemistry with Sid Stempniak has a cool name and all but I can see better options right now for a cup run. |

Calgary should deal everyone and blow it up. Sucks kipper said what he said because they really should trade everyone that has value now. |

Clowe is garbage. He is a UFA too boot. We have added our toughness. You want this piece of crap, but poo poo stempniak? Stempy's asking price is cheaper and he isn't a rental. He could play on the third line easily or second line. That is, if Shero is still truly looking for another winger. |

Agree. Here is the thing though. Who the hell is looking for a goalie and does Kipper serve as a true improvement? I don't think so. I don't think too many would be calling for him. Maybe Carolina - maybe the Islanders, but that is it. |

I'd take him add even more to the third line or if needed for injuries top lines. Is he healthy though? |

Alright, I'll think about Stempniak.
Thinking about names for the 4th line...take draws and play physical.. |
