He is, how's his faceoff percentage? Wait, does he no longer play centre? He used to be a C/W. SOB.
- mykokes

last year he played centre all season I believe...he hit 30 goals when playing on Staals wing tho.

Is there a maximum weight for NHL players?

If not, why has no team gone out, grabbed a 7 foot, 500lb sumo wrestler, and just used a zamboni to push him into the net, and leave him there.

Oh gawd.
So Kadri plays well for 20 games and now all of a sudden he can make any player better.....and a 30 goal scorer.
Interesting.

I doubt you'll ever Kuli score 30 in a leaf uniform again.

Because with the pads on he wouldn't be able to move and have a fivehole the size of East Texas.

Nobody would realize until after they tried giving him the Vezina that the guy had died part-way through the season.

No...Wellwood and Buff are still playing.

Oh of course they will...why not.
But is he really better than what we currently have?
Debatable.

- Fakepartofme

definitely...I'm not sure I want him.....I just think a solid argument could be made that he would improve our team. A bit more playmaking skill to play alongside Grabovski might work......

I still think 25 is or 54 points.
- mykokes

Ottawa placed 8th last year with a 41-31-10 record.

I'm saying 24-18-6 (54 points) will put us right on the brink, especially with the 'row' we've already collected. Our lack of shootout wins actually have one positive

Today at practice, the equipment manager looked into the puck bag, and there were only seven pucks.

"What shall we do?" the players asked. "We all need pucks, and there are not enough pucks to go around."

And so Kadri took the puck bag, and began to hand out pucks to each of the Leafs players. And all the players received pucks and were satisfied.

Charles Wang is waaaaaaaay ahead of you:

http://www.nytimes.com/20...northodox-owner.html?_r=0

But then Wang was, from the start, a basketball fan and a hockey novice. Mike Milbury, a former general manager of the Islanders, recalled that Wang wanted to get rid of the team’s scouts (to rely on the league’s central scouting system) and try out sumo wrestlers as goaltenders.

“He assumed that nobody could put a goal past a sumo wrestler,” Milbury said in a telephone interview from Boston. But, Milbury added, Wang’s heart was in the right place. “He was a man of his word, a guy who desperately wanted to keep the team on the Island,” he said.

Aw, shucks. Thank you.

Describing a muslim performing the miracles of Jesus - during Passover, no less - probably puts me in elite company - it doesn't matter who is in charge, I'm going to hell.

If only I could figure out a way to write something about Kadri and Diwali...
