I love jeeps and trucks lol

Why are we douches!?

- Bigzby

It's the attitude and douche aura that radiates entitled spoiled kids who have their parents buying it for them.

If you're a jeep/truck person who is normal and nice, its totally fine!

I now own a F-150 and I love it. Zero doucheism here

Better off flying to Florida and buying ice level tickets(with a free 5 star dining experience and choice of virgin) for $30
- Feeling Glucky?

I'm going to be in Florida for a week around Christmas this year...hoping the Lightning (going to be closer to TBay) aren't on an extended road trip or something during that span. REALLY hoping the Leafs are in town but doubt I'll be that lucky. Still excited for cheap tickets.

If they aren't in town hopefully the Buccaneers are!

i live in London.. and to this day so many UWO kids drive jeeps it makes me want to puke

the big trucks are next in line tho.. i'll give you that

- Dozzer

I went to U of G. Think Jeeps and big trucks are bad? My first year room mate in res was an Agricultural student and he had posters up on his wall of different John Deere tractors, combines and other farm equipment. Hell they even have their standard uniform of plaid shirts, brown overalls with work boots and ball caps. No lie.

At least they're using those

Why a guy who lives by himself and drives 5 minutes to and from class with only a bag of books to haul needs a Jeep or Pick-up truck, I'll never understand.

It's like all the single girls in California driving SUVs... WTF ARE YOU USING THOSE FOR?

So true. He's a good guy though and a Leafs fan. I still go out for a beer with him every once in awhile. And you wouldn't know it at first, but them farms are worth poop loads of money. So is that farm of equipment.

Oh god, I don't even want to know what my parents spent on Hockey. AAA for 13 years, countless composite sticks, top of the line skates every year. Not to mention all the travelling and tournaments.

(frank) now I feel like a douche

Yup, million bucks for a combine...

Usually the farm boys are the most down to earth easy going guys. Not superficial or anything like that. They are also hard workers in my experiences.

Oh ya, my rents drove beaters and rented a townhouse, once I turned 19-20, they had brand new cars and bought a house.

Agreed. The Agricultural program at my former school is probably the most difficult. Lots of sciences and math courses and they would generally have to take 6-7 courses a semester as oppose to the normal 4-5. And they still had time for working the farm in the mornings and drinking at night! Don't know how they do it.

They know how to fix everything too, its amazing. I've learned so much from a couple of boys I party with still from highschool. Take my sled over there and they rip her apart and get her back to tip top shape!

Im not going to lie. I don't even like going to games anymore. Its too (frank)ing expensive, I live too far, the crowd sucks, the team has sucked. Just hasn't been worth the price. Even the Jays, though its cheaper.

Hopefully if/when the product is better it will feel more like an appealing investment for me.

- systemtool

Games are more enjoyable at home IMHO - game looks so quick and the rink looks so small when live - different vibe watching on tv - beers cheaper - and no fighting the crowd for a dart - lots of pros to watching in the comfy of your own home!!!!!

I hate both of those cars. People driving them are not only trendy douches, they completely misunderstand the laws of physics, and what happens when your tiny tin can of a car gets hit by anything bigger than a pedestrian. And if flyfreaky is the pedestrian, even that'd be an issue.

I'm looking at a decent hatchback, an elantra GT or mazda 3. Looks decent, convenient, not a gas guzzler, and I can actually park it downtown.

*might* go with a used Sonata- there are some pretty good deals on those.

As noted in today's LR, Nazem Kadri has drawn 22 minor penalties or about 19% of the Leaf powerplays.

Equipment costs a lot of money, but it depreciates.

Farmland, especially close to a city, is a great investment. Hold on to it until everything else is developed, and then make millions.
