please tell me you werent one of the prototypical jeep driving douches from western
- Dozzer

Nope- never going to buy a Jeep

Unlike many of the douches that you speak of, I didn't have a car bought for me (almost have enough for one though ), so I either biked or bused. Had to take a cab to an exam once, after waiting half an hour for a bus up Richmond.... a bus that was supposed to come once every, what, 5/10 minutes?

I laugh when people complain about the TTC.

I agree. For that price, you might as well take them away somewhere for the weekend. Get more bang for your buck, so to say. Or throw another couple of G's and take them to Cuba for a week.

Yep and just stay home and watch the games on the tube...Hell center ice cost ya like $350 and u get to see every game + the only traffic/travel u have to worry about is too and from the beer store....

Im not going to lie. I don't even like going to games anymore. Its too (frank)ing expensive, I live too far, the crowd sucks, the team has sucked. Just hasn't been worth the price. Even the Jays, though its cheaper.

Hopefully if/when the product is better it will feel more like an appealing investment for me.

- systemtool

Yeah and when it's a better product, ticket prices will probably skyrocket.... Can't win in this market.

I went to western! Theres no Jeeps down there. It's rich kids with brand new F-150's or Dodge Rams!
- Fatty-Patty

When I went there a good car was a VW beetle.

Of course we are talking about 1973

Have you seen the ones you can get from China. For $ 40 you get a beautiful sweater, numbered, with a name and full creating.

Those are illegal. They don't pay any licensing fees. would be ripping off the owners. Don't want to do that.

Better off flying to Florida and buying ice level tickets(with a free 5 star dining experience and choice of virgin) for $30

If I had a VW Gulf in university I would have been the happiest kid around!

I had a 2001 Chevy S10 that I purchased instead. First car, spent 5500 on her... Did the trick. Thought I was sooo cool with my car until the rich boys show up in their daddies trucks Then I was a bit heart broken.

This is a true story.

Before the Lightning won the cup, we had some guys doing some service work in Orlando. In mid season the guys were able to get upper bowl hockey tickets to the game,,,,,Free with a Big Mac Meal at MacDonald's. This was early in the year, they won the cup...Wow.

Maybe its those party animal Fanshawe kids

I couldn't live in that town, unless it was totally away from the school district. Waaaaaaay to much BS from all those kids. Especially the college, that place is just out of control!

true story:

I lived on rez my first year, and lived in a suite with a few douchbags, who were friends with the douchebags in a suite right beside ours, so they were always around.

I noticed that if I left anything in the shower area, it'd get used by said douches.

Lets just say I "refilled" those bottles whenever I could.

I seem to recall in my time at UWO too many BMW and Benz and even vettes driving around with kids claiming to be pre-med. I clearly remember 1 day where I was walking on campus past a parking lot, when a Benz came flying in and squeezed into a spot then the door was flung open with complete disregard to the poor Toyota's side panel next to it. Out steps a chick with high heels, mini-skirt, hair and makeup all done up, designer bag/clothes just to go to a stupid and most likely a useless lecture. Pretty sure it was near to the Social Sciences building, go figure.

In my math class, there were two girls talking right infront of me. Honest to god, one of them said she was only in school to meet her husband.

And she was from Atlanta.

Too funny, one of my elective courses one semester was Greek Mythology. It was just a fluff class to fill the requirements, but it was a 8:00am class. I remember two girls in front of me talking about how much the hated the class because they had to wake up at 5:00am so they could get their hair done in time.

A lot of the girls in my early classes just came in PJs... I was at Huron, so depending on the rez you were in, you didn't need to step outside to get to classes.

I remember Math class.. First year, to get rid of all the clowns that can't actually do work. I strategically sat behind the row of really good looking girls...

I ended up helping a couple of them with their work, and eventually got one of them into my bed! First University take down!

There are benefits to having these types of people at school!

I was in comp sci, so there were barely any girls in my required classes, so for electives I went for courses like psychology, film etc. Had to break up the monotony of being surrounded by geeks all day in computer labs.

Ya I went to Fanshawe. Definitely a lot of so called riff raff around those parts.

I can't imagine being a full time resident around there. It just seems like it would be a constant pain in the ass

Welcome to engineering. There were girls, but they all looked like men.
