Random thoughts:

- just peeked at the standings. If the Jets can beat Carolina tonight, and then we take care of them on Thursday, it would put a serious dent in the Hurricanes' playoff chances. Meaning the Leafs would have less to worry about.

- Bozak sucks. Yeah, just thought I'd put that out there.

- we do not need a shootout specialist. Ask Edmonton how Linus Omark worked out.

- Atomic Wedgie

that whole top line is sucking

and making a roster spot for a guy who is good in the shootout is just plain dumb.. lets adjust aour game strategy for something that only happens a fraction of the time and NEVER in the post season.

3M for a 4th line plug? are you serious?
just for the CHANCE of a shootout?
What if we dont have another shootout this season?

- IrishRage

You can sure as hell know the Leafs are gonna bring it on full force the next 5 minute overtime just to avoid the shootout. Pour it on or lose trying.

And one final (brilliant) thought:

Take any guy who is slumping, and play him with Kadri. He's the slump killer.

Start with Frattin and JVR tonight.

telling someone to take their goggles off is no different then calling them a name

if you cant figure out why that might be considered insulting then i dont know what to tell you.

you've been warned.

- Dozzer

Warned about what? In my eyes, I'm saying let's not overrate the player because we are Leaf fans. Not calling anyone a name, to insinuate anything else is just being over sensitive.

Frattin is young my friend. 25 is very young still. Hamilton isn't a regular.

Dozzer, Which jersey should I get tonight?
Kadri or Gardiner? Maybe a Kostka?

- IrishRage

I honestly think the leafs should try Lupul - Kadri - Kessel for one night, like tonight.
Against a lower placed team. See if they can light it up...

Switching Frattin and Kulemin could do a lot of good. Kulemin is on fire as of late and could help the Grabo line whereas Kadri and Lupul might get Frattin going again.

Frattin and Hamilton are 'NHL' young, not a lot of experience.

I like Hamiltons gritty role and it suited very well against the Bruins.
Despite losing after being up 2-0 I think we played a solid game against Boston.

- Unholy_Forward

his role was acceptable, but let's not get too carried away....he is a plug.

That's only because Stajan and Conno'lol''s contract make it seem "not bad" in comparison

Maybe true, at this point sending him down might be spinning tires. He's coming off another injury, I'm not at all suprised it's taking him a little while to get going, playing with grabs isn't exactly the recipe for production this year either.

Kulemin has a different role on the Kadri line - a little more offensive leeway

Leave Kuli right where he is. He needs someone to dish off to him. Grabo doesn't do that.

Still a good bottom six guy to have on your team or accessible through the system.
