The problem is he's never played as a third liner, he's been playing top line ever since he got here except for 3 games when they put Grabo there before Wilson canned it.

If Bozak played on the 3rd line, he'd be lucky to get 20 points for the rest of his career.

In my mind for 4 years we've had Bozak with Kessel, while Grabo has gotten the leftovers. I'd like to see the guy who was our highest scoring centre the last four years actually play with our highest scoring winger, especially now we have Naz who can play with anyone and make them look good. If the Grabo with kessel thing fails, then you move Grabo maybe as opposed to Ballsack. But I've given up on it ever happening, and me mentioning it on here every two days won't change things. I just thought a new coach might try things the old coach didn't.

So far, why I prefer grabo is when things get tough and rough, he steps up his play...whereas Bozak disapears. (again, have said this repeatedly).

I can't say I disagree with everything there, he might as well at least get a look. I have to believe this coaching staff has at least tried it in practice. Maybe it's a coddle job cause Kessel and Bozak are tight buds. All I know is give the guy a look, if it really does clash then do what you gotta do.

For me it really kept guys off balance... because when they defend you in the ozone.. I can keep the puck further away from them.. but in the dzone... they were always off put by how long my reach was... with the longer stick... it worked really well for me... I am sure for Bozak it would work even better... as he is much more talented...

Ive played hockey my whole life - competitively until I was 21- I could not do this.

I disagree, but have no plans of getting into a discussion about it lol.....from just what I've observed Bozak is a better hockey player when he's not forcefeeding passes to Phil and when he's actually using his own instincts to score goals and points.....again, have said this too many times to count, and I respect our difference of opinion.

My dad taught me to use a longer stick than normal (albeit only to my forehead) and I will say this, a guy can play with a smaller stick, but going to a longer stick is much more difficult.

Yes I realize the jokesters will be all over this one.

When you get used to it... Hockey most of the time is a positional game with zones and short shifts... so most of the time.. it was all good once I was used to it.

But sometimes on the backcheck.. I wish I had my longer stick...

You get used to whatever.. you do regularly.. if you get used to different lengths than that is what you know... I just watched the game... and when it was time to go.. just grabbed the right length depending on the zone...

He's missing because he's probably trying to pass it back to Kessel.
