So in your mind keep Grabs over Bozak? Theres valid arguments for both sides |

Is there a maximum weight for NHL players?
If not, why has no team gone out, grabbed a 7 foot, 500lb sumo wrestler, and just used a zamboni to push him into the net?
Nobody would realize until after they tried giving him the Vezina that the guy had died part-way through the season. - Feeling Glucky?
Kyle Wellwood is in training for the job. |

A guy like Mark Fraser should always have a wood stick for that reason. Or McClement. These are the guys that can't afford to have a broken stick.
It's always weird when a guy breaks his stick and stands there instead of just get a new one. He's pretty much useless without one, what's 5 to 10 seconds to either get a new one or to get off the ice? - Two_For_Truth
Spezza still uses wood. Less bounce, easier to cradle hard passes, the wood gives a little. |

Bozak is the better face-off guy.. but you would have to relegate him to 3rd line action and pay him accordingly.... if you could remove Grabo's length & salary that would be the way to go... IMO

Ya, Looking at a prime number 1 centre grabs would probly have to go unless of course, Bozak gets overpaid, but we'll see, he may not want to leave T.O. it has happened before. |

Well not exactly useless.. altho forwards I would agree a Dman usually grabs a forwards stick.. if not has to use the body hard and take out some men...

I think you try to get a number 1 center... and then have Kadri & Bozak behind him... pretty potent... I would say...

agrred, it's nothing against grabs, but he might be left in limbo a bit here because he's a top 6 guy, really Bozak is more suited maybe perfect as a 3rd line guy. |

Offensive players have an excuse if they want a lighter, more flexible stick but defensive players, guys that need a reliable twig, especially on the PK, should always be using a wood stick.
Spezza is one of very few very offensive guys still using a wood stick. Probably going to be the last one. |

The problem is he's never played as a third liner, he's been playing top line ever since he got here except for 3 games when they put Grabo there before Wilson canned it. |

Exactly. If the goal as RC has said, that he would love to see 3 scoring lines develop in the long run then I'de say it should work out. |

In my mind for 4 years we've had Bozak with Kessel, while Grabo has gotten the leftovers. I'd like to see the guy who was our highest scoring centre the last four years actually play with our highest scoring winger, especially now we have Naz who can play with anyone and make them look good. If the Grabo with kessel thing fails, then you move Grabo maybe as opposed to Ballsack. But I've given up on it ever happening, and me mentioning it on here every two days won't change things. I just thought a new coach might try things the old coach didn't.
So far, why I prefer grabo is when things get tough and rough, he steps up his play...whereas Bozak disapears. (again, have said this repeatedly).
