Why do I read these asinine Garth blogs? In one paragraph he says teams want to add Stafford for scoring depth and then he claims Stafford and Leopold could fetch a top-6 forward and a draft pick. yep me too. stafford fell down our roster and is now barely cracking our 4th line @ 4mil a year no one is gonna trade for him. he has amnesty buy out all over him.

I'd be happy with a good prospect who is NHL ready and maybe a draft pick. Someone along gthe lines of Toffoli.....AHL guy who appears ready to make the jump.

We could get a 2nd/3rd rounder for Leopold only because people are looking for defense. I really hope Darcy realizes we should take whatever we can get for him, especially if it is a pick.

Stafford I think could get us a good prospect or a pick.

If we package them together we could manage a top prospect and a 3rd/4th round pick. That might be a good route to take.

I don't see us moving one of the 'Big 3' until at least the offseason, or maybe not even until next deadline. Without Stafford, Regehr, and Leopold we just freed up about 11m in cap space which is plenty of cash to sign Hodgson and add some pieces.
