There would probably need to be another player or two to acquire in some way or another, but there's already young talent here.
EDIT: I just reread what you said and wanted to add more. They have plenty of young leadership here already as well. Hodgson, Foligno, and Girgensons. But it helps them to develop if they have a veteran leader to learn from - HonkFortheGoose

There's no room for him to play center here with Hodgson, Grigorenko, and Girgensons. He's going to end up on wing, mostly because of his size. Notice I didn't even have Ennis in there? He still has to compete with him too. Just not enough room for him to be a center. It's actually a really good problem to have. - HonkFortheGoose

The nice thing is tht even all the guys you list as our Centers have played on the wing too... It gives us a great amount of flexibility going forward

McCabe is only a sophomore this year. Hes not going pro next season, although he could still sign a contract. I bet McCabe finishes out all 4 years of his college career before he plays pro.
Makarov already was signed as an undrafted FA by Buffalo this summer.
I think he's gonna end up at center. He's playing wing in Rochester, but that happens with guys a lot at first. It's what they should have done with Grigorenko when he was here. - HonkFortheGoose

He's got alittle grit to his game, and he's very responsible in his own zone...
But he's far from a banger
It's just not his game
He's all about positioning and getting rid of the puck quick w a good first pass
We need to add a physical young guy or two on defense otherwise we'll be in this position again in a few years w a bunch of "soft" puck movers
