I do too. I'm the biggest Myers backer on this blog. - sbroads24
If we could do like Myers + Catenacci for Toffolil + Muzzin + 1st + Bernier, thats where I start to consider it. This all of course depends on us getting a nice return from Miller as well. Muzzin is proving he belongs in the NHL. Hes got size, hes tough, and hes scoring points and playing very well for the Kings right now. |

it is what he could be in 3- 4 years "Potential" every one hates that word ..
having armia, toffoli ( Snipers) will be good for us in the future if we lose "vanek " - gerbe75pts
does toffoli play a two way game? (no judgement, just a question, i saw a few things about his offensive game being pretty cool) |

young and has alot of potential. - joshs
So basically just the hope that by the time he's 27 he'll be better than a 27 year old Drew Stafford was (is)? I just hadn't heard anything about him EVER before. At least not like I've heard about a number of other young guys that have come up over the last few years. I guess he's a C, but he's listed as an RW on hockeydb... who knows how dated that info is, but if he's not a natural center, is just 6 feet tall it sounds like more of the same kinda player we already have. I'd almost rather have the picks if that's the case. If the kid had so much skill wouldn't he have lasted longer than three games before being scratched? |

never saw him play but if this trade has anything to do with us getting rid of stafford, well the player comming back could be almost anybody and i would be happy. |

If Jussi Jokinen is truly on waivers....he has 1 more year at 3 mil...he is a center that I think has a history of being good at faceoffs....isn't he worth consideration especially if we dump Leopold/Regehr???
It is not like we have a ton of forwards that are ready to play tomorrow on the farm.... |

Also, wouldn't we only be responsible for a portion of his salary, him being on waivers and all? |

What if Darcy pulls off Grigorenko for Toffolli type deal like he did last year with Kassian for Hodgson? Would everyone hate that? |

Ill tell you a lil something about potential;
in the 4th grade I grew to 5'6 big growth spurt and the doctors said I had the wait for it........potential to be over 6 ft tall like my uncles. Im now 30 and 5'7.
I also have the potential to bring home a super model but may not reach that |

Would you rather have Toffoli, or a 1st and a 3rd? I think we could get the latter for Stafford. Something's not right about his skill level and how he's been playing. |

I am just looking at more stats - he really has been in decline in recent years...really is a tough call to take him...could be kinda like have Jocken Hecht for another year.... |
