We will never be able to replace him.

True, but mostly because no free agent would sign here after seeing this tonight.

The utter lack of discipline has quite a lot to do with it.

I guess that instilling discipline falls on the players.

- Jsaquella

Ultimately, the players have to execute.

They aren't.

It's on everyone. Nobody's absolving the players, coach or management.
- Jsaquella

I was referring to players with that, cause you posed a question about players I stilling discipline... Oh nvm this game is driving me nuts.

Yeah, otherwise we'd have to deal with you crying like a two year old about him signing Mark Streit to an over 35 deal
- Jsaquella

Kimmo came into the game +1, the highest d-man on the team. He's made more mistakes this year than past ones, but compared to everyone else on this team, he's doing some things right

Blame all round.

I'd even look at the Zamboni guy, and guy those ice girls an STD test.

He has a lot of tackles for loss this year too. Eagles could use some of that.

Will Couturier be able to fend off Brodeur in goals scored this year, or will Brodeur put an empty netter in against the Flyers to tie him?

Another shot misses the net from point blank range. Pathetic.

Coaching, systems, discipline all aside, there comes a point as a professional player, you need to look at each other and decide it's time to step up.

For that, I blame the "leaders" on this team, starting with Giroux.

- 77rams

I blame them, too. But when guys are not held accountable by the coach, it's hard for the leadership group to do it's job.

Not to mention most of the leadership group has battled their own issues-Timonen, Briere and Hartnell have all been hurt and played ineffectively, and when Laviolette's idea of discipline after a bad penalty is to demote a guy to the third line, but rush his ass out for every PP, it's hard to do

Too much thinking going on out there, whether over- or under-thinking, by everyone. Hesitating before taking shots, before passing. There's no flow.

this team is mentally cooked, Lava can't save this ship. Their team d is inept, no goalie would look good behind this team, this year.
