Miikka Kiprusoff has told the Flames he will not report to his new team if they trade him due to family concerns, sources tell Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos. Kiprusoff's wife gave birth to a baby boy last week, which could be part of the family concerns mentioned in Kypreos' reports. Kiprusoff has struggled this season, particularly in March, but has been mentioned in trade talks as the Flames consider whether to blow up their core and start a rebuild. Funny that the guy who probably has the least amount of skill when compared to the top 9 forwards is the most effective down low.

Its just my thoughts, but this team is soft as hell in the forward ranks.
