Leddy or Hjalmarsson??? - jimmc7722
^This.
The fact they are willing to entertain trading Leddy is baffling.
Saad is Okposo with Toews and Hossa. |

Of course. Him alone is not going to fetch what he's worth unless part of a package. I just hate how the guys that work in night in and night out seem to fall through the cracks when this team is in desperate need of exactly what he brings. To me it's mismanagement, this of course bearing on whether he's traded or not? I just hate the way he's handled on this team. - Cptmjl
Martin and Grabner have been handled so well this year by Cappy |

I'm guessing Reasoner and Acoin must be fully motivated at this point? |

I find it odd, very odd, that a team with Toews, Kane, Hossa, and Sharp feel they need a Brad Boyes to improve their PP. - canadianpenfan
Their PP is ranked mediocre 13th in the NHL. As good as the Hawks are. Their PP is a hair above average.
I'm not saying Boyes is going to help by any means but Streit could be a big help come PO time. |

SCLI we must use a Jedi mind trick on Chicago. You need Boyes for the PP as well as Streit. He is just like PA. |

Trading Martin would be a mistake. He does'nt seem to be liked by the coaching staff though and I'm guessing management? Guy competes every night and you can see his game improving, he should be an integral part of this "rebuild" IMO - Cptmjl
what makes you think he isn't liked by managment??? thats totally conjucture or your point...Martin is a bottom six forward and his great at his role..i don't see how you can come up with this theory |

Yep, he wanted 3rd rounder numbers as opposed to 5th from what I remember. Guy is one of the best competitors on the team. Wants to win and constantly gets delegated to play with shat no matter how much he improves. - Cptmjl
Well there you go. He'll forever be a in Wangs doghouse. |

Sorry I just can't see it. If the PP is bad it has to be system, those players are too good. And I don't see Streit as an upgrade to Keith. I hope for your sakes they feel differently because it would be sweet for you if you could get some nice prospects for them. |

they have, they are bottom six forwards and thats where they play.... now you can scream and yell about grabner and what he brings to the table...he may have top six talent but he has third line hands...i have no issue where they are playing.. our bottom six is the best it has been in years |

You're just afraid if they get Streit and Boyes... they just punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup.

He brings Heart, determination, grit, and courage.
Well you and I and most on here know that but Wang and Snow seem to believe NHL hockey should be transformed into a non reactive passive aggressive sport.
In other words. Dont initiate any ill will toward your opponent. But you can Take the cheap shot. Get pushed around. Get mad. Look to the Ref. Look to your Head Coach. Look to your assistant coach. Then take a seat on the bench. Get a pat on the back and forget about the whole thing.
Thats todays brand of Islander hockey. |

Couldn't disagree more about Grabner. His scoring pace was just fine this year for a second liner until Cappy started screwing with ice time and giving him different linemates every game. Put up 34 goals and 52 points without the benefit of playing with Tavares...that's second-line production, even if he misses his breakaways. |

I agree with you that they are loaded with talent but I cant really debate where they are actually failing because I'm not a follower of the Hawks.
But maybe its their 2nd PP unit that needs upgrading a bit. The 1st unit isnt always available and the dip between units may be substantial. Just a thought. |

The Isles are so loaded with talent Grabner needs to be a bottom 6 forward. |

The Hawks with PAP are greater then The Habs of the 70's. The Isles of the 80's. The Oilers of the 80's. Detroit of the 60's. Pittsburgh of the 2000's and every other NHL team that ever existed!
So there! |

Correct, that's why I put "guessing" there. I come up with that theory bcs of how he is handled by Capuano on the team, demoted, ice time, etc. |

Just don't give them the McDonalds too, at least give us a chance.
We're getting PAP and then there's nothing to do but sit back and enjoy the run.

For a bottom six forward Grabner HAD more goals then anyone else not named Tavares, just saying |
