Dont disagree, but look what they did (or didnt do) against the panthers and caps. Its nice to see signs of life.

True, but let's do this against a team that actually is playing for more than pride, and then I might get a little more pumped up.

Happy to see them score, for sure, but the Flyers are not a good team this season.

Step has looked like a legit top line guy for the last couple of weeks. He's doing a little bit of everything. Faceoffs, good defensive plays, slick passing and scoring some goals. I have to admit, I wasn't ever as down as you were about Step but I thought he was more of a two than a one. He looks like a one right now.

Domination. Torts style
- Slimtj100

I guess you noticed that there has been a change in Tortie's "Play Away From The Puck" stressed system for this game so far. The Rangers are finally being the aggressor from the start with their talent causing the Flyers to play in a touch football prevent defensive style.
The results are much better so far because of their quality of shots taken. Plus Hank made some huge saves in the first, and Torts finally separated Nash, Gabby, and Richards onto separate lines for the first time all season. He must have seen my post when I said it first here after the loss to the Capitals Sunday at 10:52pm.

They'll get a good chance this week. Sens and Habs and next week a home and home with the pens.

Huge.

Rangers need to keep their heads on a swivel. It's fast approaching that time when Brayden Schenn starts looking to leap into someones head.

Torty, now don't go back to your "Play Away From The Puck" prevent defensive game system. Great saves again by Hank again & again.

I might actually go with Hags. Gaborik is explosive but Hags can flat out go.

Hank is an f'ing dumbass, with that stupid head save stuff. He'll try that one day and get concussed. Bank on it.

He got his bell rung pretty good last game.

- WayneZ

You're correct. I don't know if Richter has told him that yet; but I have a feeling he already did.

He's made me look pretty clueless about hockey. Kid has been their most consistent forward since the second week of the season.

It's pretty evident that if you want to get a steal in the later rounds of the draft just go with a Swede
