You're right, but it was needed. After the 1st Presidential Debate, and Obama's pitiful performance, Joe Biden needed to do the political equivalent of running someone head first into the boards to fire up a dejected democratic base. Politics is a bloodsport.

I still shake my head at the deals Milbury made while there. He traded Luongo and Jokinen for Parrish and Kvasha so he could draft DiPietro. Then he made the Yashin deal too. He set that organization back a decade single-handedly.

Hell of a shot release. But, don't know what to make of him. Don't think he is a horrible skater, but not great either. The question will be whether he can find his own shots at the NHL level.
