Who?
They are not mention worthy, in my mind, until they have a few consecutive post season appearances in a row. - WayneZ

Eh, whatever. I saw Giroux on the ice and it made me laugh. The look on Kreider's face was cool too. |

Sorry 1, my mistake so it's 5 to 1, fixing this team is a lot of work like an entire offseason, I'm coming to grips with what this team isn't |

they take too long to make passes. DZ was wide open for a nash and stepan pass for a one timer. never got the puck. G shoulda passed to miller wide open. takes weak ass wrister instead. oy |

Nice setup by Miller to Kreider and a good shot on goal. Might see a lot of that stuff over the next several seasons. |

You know when i thought the Rangers PP was the most lethal. Those years when you had 68 spinning off the half boards. He and gomez would QB the powerplay from the half boards, and it was lethal.
They should get Nash, to play Jagr's role. |

looked like Kreider's stick pushed Giroux's skate just after he took the shot. |

Boyle makes way too much money for the numbers he has this season. That the Rangers would take a 6.67 million dollar cap hit for him next season should preclude trying to bring him here. Gaborik is the far better player to trade salary for salary. If our esteemed coach would move Gabby back to the right side maybe our goal starved team would score a few more.
Torts history here shows that if he has a h*rd on for a player he puts him in a position to fail. This time its Gaborik's turn.
Yeah,Torts. Good idea. Drop Gabby down to play with Boyle and Miller. That will get the most out him. Play him with a guy who can't score or pass for sh*t (1 goal and 1 assist this year) and a raw rookie with a bad wrist who is still finding his way around the league. Make no mistake, Miller is going to be a good player but he is still learning the pro game. He has but 2 assists in 22 games.
That is 3 assists in a combined 49 games for Boyle and Miller. Chances are slim they get Gaborik the puck in a scoring chance.
Does anyone really think this goal starved team benefits by dropping gaborik down to the third line? Do you think he will get 18 or 20 minutes of ice time there?
Gabby is not a banger. He is not a diving shot blocker. He is not a grinder. He is a right wing finesse goal scorer. Our coach does not seem to think so. If Torts wants to run him out of town at least get equal value for him and not some 36 year old ex Tampa Bay washed up defensemn.
Sorry guys. I am losing faith in our coach. - Downeaster
You're doing better than me. I've already lost faith in Torts.
Great points you made. It's almost like Torts WANTS him to fail. |

Cranford, at some point you gotta realize that every game is like a playoff game now. It's just not that easy to get a 1000 scoring chances every shift like you want. Defense wins as hard as it is for you to believe.
