I think part of the problem is that he wasn't trusted because he couldn't handle the minutes. I hope this year was a wake up call to him that he needs to do more on his own conditioning wise in the offseason. I almost would like to see Hodgson get him to go to Gary Roberts camp over the summer. I would probably do him a lot of good.

Not sure if anyone else noticed this but, Myers has actually looked pretty good lately. And they've been winning. Same thing happened last year. He finally seemed to get his poop together and then they started winning. It can't just be a coincidence.

Not every player responds to things like that. I also think that you have to be invited in some way. I don't think just any player can decide to go. But Roberts seems to have a really close relationship with Hodgson, so if Cody wanted Myers there and he was willing to go, I bet he could.

I think that I will flip the (frank) out if we don't trade Stafford and Leopold by the deadline. Sooner the better for Leopold. If we package Leopold and Stafford together we could get something valuable, if separate probably just crap. I would even take a 3rd-4th rounder for Leopold.

Regehr I want to trade as well, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if he played out the season here. Regehr I think could get us a 1st rounder or a nice prospect, and we should pounce on that if we can.

I really could see Lindy going to the Rangers. He played for the Rangers for a year or two and he will be the coach to hire if people are looking to replace.

For us I could see us going after some big name coaches. Pegula can afford to overpay the poop out of coaches.

I'm not a fan of PK. I don't like his antics. He's a good player, but he needs to calm himself down a bit. The screaming at the refs after every whistle is a bit obnoxious, and that's just 1 of the things he does.

Depends on what it means by "he's on the block." Is it that we're actively shopping him, or is it that other teams have been calling inquiring about him. There's 2 ways to interpret it.

He came right out and apologized to his teammates this year. That sounds like someone who may have realized that there's a problem that needs to be fixed. I'd be willing to give him another year.
