I've seen some comments about Morrow and Murray being over the hill and on the decline.

Morrow was born in 1979, same as Kunitz and Dupuis. Murray was born in 1980, same as Brooks Orpik.

All are younger than Matt Cooke.

Yea, I kind of ignored that when I saw people saying Morrow was too "old" now. He wants that Stanley cup badly, as does Murray

I'm less worried about chemistry and more worried about how quickly these new guys learn the system. This line up has seen plenty of different faces this year but they've all played the system whether it was here or in WBS, until now.

Morrow should be the easier transition of the two. "When you see #71, pass him the puck".

More like....go to the net with your stick on the ice, and while you are at it, punish anyone who messes with 71 or 87

Boyle's quote, "Forwards in the East, if they don't know who he is, they're going to know shortly because he's got to be possibly the hardest hitter in the game."

I want him to rip Hartnell's head whenever he tries to camp in front of the net.

I like both deals. Murray will help against guys like Lucic and Hartnell (if he itsn't golfing).

Do you know why I think Murray will be great for us? We have slowed the game down a bit and we have seen the results. Slower pace fits his game. Will be awessome to see Murray moving bodies and Morrow getting the dirty goals in front of the net.

Btw, Morrow looks a lot like Cooke. If he can be as effective, I'll be happy

I know the bar is set high, but if he plays his heart out and the team goes far, he could be loved here like Guerin or Roberts when it's over. You know Billy G is going to tell him all about it.

Well.... I guess the TDL around here will be pretty boring. I can't believe there are reports out there suggesting we're still in on Iggy.

The reports are coming from sources from Calgary. They are trying like hell to build a bidding war for him. Rational people know Pittsburgh isn't after him and moved on. Their actions speak loud and clear.

Yeah, they said the same things about Roberts and Guerin when they arrived too. Once those guys got here they played like youngsters and were renergized since they were playing for a shot at the Cup.
