That is more likely than Depres

Harrington and Maatta are keepers and wouldn't want to see one of them get traded. They are friends and have good size and chemistry

I guess he found a home and is playing well there. Still I don't think they'll ever get a cup with this current roster.

If I see another D prospect get traded, I'd hope it will be for a younger top 6 winger. Kunitz and dupuis are working amazing right now, but they are on the verge of going downhill now. We Will be back to the #sidneedsawinger thing in 2 years

Watch it: if Iginla comes, probably Pouliot will be in the package for him.

Can you imagine if the pens also got Iginla.

Kunitz-Crosby-Iginla
Neal-Malkin-dupuis
Morrow-sutter-Bennett
Cooke-Vitale-Kennedy

Or whatever you want the 4th line to be. That is scary. But IMO Iginla is not needed. No point giving up a 1st rounder when the team is clicking so well and now with Morrow

No no no. Our top 6 is plenty good enough when Malkin is healthy. With how the team has been playing, I'd say leave Malkin and Letang as a healthy scratch until like 5 games left in the season to be sure they are 100%.

Not saying I'd be wanting to trade for Iginla now that we got Morrow, just showing what kind of package I could see going the other way.

We definitely have what it takes to get him, but it's not needed. I'd like to see Stewart come over here

I think 1st+Pouliot and Jeffery would be the best we could do and it wont be good enough. Unless they put another D prospect in there, but i dont think they want to do that.

Now we're talking The problem with those young guys is that they'll need a raise in payment....I kid of got accostumed to how we bring the old fellas. They normally are hungry for a cup and don't ask for too much money.

Yea, Morrow could take a nifty little pay cut to stay if he likes it here. I really think Morrow-Sutter-cooke will be a pesky combination

True..we can't trade all of our prospects. Don't touch Harrington/Maatta, ever

Could Calgary possibly blow things in this trade if they hold on for too long?

Clowe and Iginla will be traded to contenders, eventually.

It's because he can also fight better than anyone. Just ask Marc Staal

He's matched well with Eric Staal, really well....but I agree it's a bit too much.

It is hard to believe. I think his rap sheet is overblown by the Milburys of the world, but thats a mighty big commitment.

Murray. He's somebody that can battle in playoffs-especially against a team like the Kings. One things for sure. A lot of teams in the West are praising this move. And a lot of teams in the East will soon see why.

Yeah, the real Alex Semin is somewhere in between the Milbury version and the 30 games that he's played in Carolina. I hope for Carolina's sake that they get more good than bad.

Boyle's quote, "Forwards in the East, if they don't know who he is, they're going to know shortly because he's got to be possibly the hardest hitter in the game."

You can't count the Pens out of anything.. including Iginla... They could still be in it if teams aren't gonna pay the top dollar for him. I ultimately see the Bruins coming with the best deal or maybe the Hawks but its just what Calgary what values... Dman or forward prospects
- nelson911

Shouldn't even entertain the notion of adding Iggy at all. Not at that horrid price and he isn't a need. We have sent assets for two possible rentals - a D prospect, possible two second round picks and a 5th and then send two D prospects and a first for another rental? That is retarded.

I've seen some comments about Morrow and Murray being over the hill and on the decline.

Morrow was born in 1979, same as Kunitz and Dupuis. Murray was born in 1980, same as Brooks Orpik.

All are younger than Matt Cooke.
