I'm less worried about chemistry and more worried about how quickly these new guys learn the system. This line up has seen plenty of different faces this year but they've all played the system whether it was here or in WBS, until now.

Did Lebrun really tweet that were all in on iginla seriously how, why - SayWhat...NoWay
We technically can still afford him. I think that's what their basing it off of. It's still possible, just very unlikely |

What's with you guys all pouncing on Glass? he's your biggest hitter (in terms of numbers), kills penalties, isn't overpaid or anything... where did the hate come from? - Morris
Hits are subjective from the stats guy at the rink, Pens have always been easy on what is considered a 'hit'.
Most of his hits are not the sort that make a player think twice, there is no impact in his game, Adams may never win a fight but you know he is out there hitting everything and getting in someone's grill whilst the play is going on.
Glass seems to do his best work after the whistle this year, not between the whistles. |

Orpik, maybe
Martin, no way. He has been the Pens best defenseman this year. - cap1681
That's amassive change of tune from last year. |

I would not be surprised to see despres plus go to Calgary for Iginla. Logjam on d...cap room...buying spree...maybe the resigning Murray condition makes despres a little more dispensable? |

We would sure hope not. We all love Despres. If Iginla comes it will be for another prospect + our 1st and a roster player. |

Despres isn't going anywhere. He is the Penguins insurance policy if they can't resign Letang. |

If Murray plays well and does resign, that gives the pens more time to develop the younger D prospects. This makes Dumoulin expendable and gives more time for Harrington, Maatta, and Pouliot to develop. However, the pens don't really need any more players right now and may have get rid of some to make space. |

Shero will be hung for that... Depres is not for sale |

I doubt he'd be hung for bringing in Iginla. I think despres is more expendable than you all think |

Despres reminds me a lot of Letang during his development. He's making a few mistakes here and there, but his progress is very noticeable.
Anyone think they are trying to keep Despres from developing too quickly? I mean look at Pietrangelo, Shattenkirk, and a couple others. Those 2 are most likely getting HUGE raises right off their EL contracts. Maybe he's trying to slow his progress so we can sign him for cheap for a few years after his EL deal |

He's not. I seriously think we'd trade Bennett before we even think about trading Despres...but I don't think they are trading any of them.
I could see Pouliot go in the other hand... |

He is the Pens most NHL ready D man that you can call prospect, with every other one probably a full season or more for some behind him.... he ain't being traded. |

Nothing but the truth....they know what they have in Despres but they also know they have a tight cap situation. Everything Shero or this organization do is calculated. |
