I honestly don't know of the Leafs will ever be able to develop a defenseman properly to his full potential. The market is just too rabid.
Forwards will always have fans. Goalies are a crap shoot; you just roll the dice and hope you get a winner.
But defense is such a tricky position to master, even for the most patient of teams. Top drafted d-men have a lower chance of panning out than any position it seems. - Leeman4Gilmour
its a difficult position to learn thats for sure.
still.. kid looks pretty good... the leafs just need to be patient.. not rush anyone... they're getting better at that nowadays

Wow wow wow. You have the power to do something. We have just taken 3 out of a possible 4 points from the Bruins for the first time since like 1954 or something. Why in the (frank) are you letting the usual twats, so called leafs fans or not, talk bollocks. you have a duty and a responsibility to tell UG..... sorry those guys to piss off for eva. - walshyleafsfan

Kadri tries to hit Chara all game. Kessel runs away from him. It doesn't matter that he's not scoring to me. It's the fact he doesn't even compete against Chara. Same with Bozak and JVR. They should watch Kadri, Grabo and Lupul play. Those guys don't back down from anyone. Kadri is a star!
Of the final 15 games, 2 each against NYR and NJ. One against Carolina.
A ton against the Southeast. - Leeman4Gilmour
Apparently we have a 87.2% chance with a record of 7-8. Don't know if there is a strength of schedule rating but I guess someone less lazy than me could look at how many remaining games are against playoff teams.

15 points from the remaining games appears to be the magic number...

11 of the remaining 15 games are teams lower than us currently. The 4 other games are the Sens and Habs - two each.
We should be able to split those 4 and pick up 2 wins there. It's really just going to come down to beating teams we can beat.
