The skills competition sucks azz. On another note, kudos to Carlyle for benching his "stars" in response to the no-show.

3 out of 4 points against Boston what the hell were you expecting...?

Kessel was being a turd in OT and not skating to pucks - expecting perfect passes to be served to him

Reimer was solid again tonight, I thought. Toronto really needs the two points tomorrow against Florida.

Ugh, shootouts.

It's disappointing seeing the Leafs drop another game they were leading in but I think you have to look at 3 out of 4 points against Boston as a win. Boston is still a way better team than Toronto but at least you can say the Leafs can skate with them now. Also, they're not getting pushed around anymore which, aside for the lopsided scores, was the really embarrassing thing last season. Usually if Boston goes down 2 goals like that, they're going to be looking for a fight. This season I don't think they want to get into a fight with the Leafs. I'm ok with these two games.

I'm good with the extra point. A win would have been nice, but it showed that we can play with this team. Now, if we can just get Nonis to add a winger with size and a good veteran defender, we might be able to do something, in the playoffs.

Their schedule is significantly easier the rest of the way at least.

3 points in a home and home against Boston, they found a way to get them

keep on truckin'

- Zezel

Spot on dude.. some people think giving up two to Boston is a bad thing.. we got one point out of it.. and most were predicting the Leafs lose both of these games...

Kadri only has 2 moves too. 10 dekes and then back hander top shelf, or 10 dekes and slide it across to his forehand

Well they've won 17 games so they're not exactly blowing a lead in every single one

If the Leafs go into the playoffs with mutt and jeff in net they aren't serious about winning.

Again, another O'fer from Kessel in another big game. Two in a row, against Boston.

Yeah, I enjoyed it better when we'd go down early and proceed to get blown out for the final two periods.

I wouldn't say they're not getting pushed around anymore. 3/4 points is great but they could have taken 4/4 without as much running around for the second half of each game

Agreed.

You're up 4-0, 3-0 and 2-0 and you blow all these leads and lose in a shootout?

Absolutely 100% unacceptable. Leafs need to get their poop together and stop sitting on leads.

3 out of 4... blah, blah, blah! Don't sell yourselves short. We blew a 2 goal lead. Yes, I`ll take the point but we should have had two.

Nuff said.

Stop settling for mediocritty.

he is heartless.. there's no doubt about it.

question is whether heart matters when it comes to talent, when looking at long term extensions.

no man, on the road in boston, we should have been blown out.

blowing a 2 goal lead against one of the cup favorites, and still making it out with a point, on the road.. isn't a bad thing.

no one is expecting this team to win championships. seeing them compete against the best teams is positive.
