I really hope you guys don't fire Gillis. I'm looking forward to the Yancy meltdowns for years to come.
- Feeling Glucky?

I hadn't thought of that..

I hope Gillis isn't fired as well.. however, it will be because I want to hear the explanations of stuff like i) we don't have a CAP problem ii) we don't have a goal tending controversy iii) why Garrison is worth 4.5+M, and why he decided to tie up half the team cap in 5 defensemen when he hadn't yet signed Edler...

that's going to be priceless.

and Corrado.

Love the hits he has been dishing out. Also love the look of shock on the other player's faces as they pick themselves up off the ice. Can tell he gets under their skin when playing like that.

Whether you like Burke or not... he's at least capable of making some awesome trades.

Gillis...

- Feeling Glucky?

Agreed, Burke was/is good at trading, but not much else. Gillis is not good at anything but signing guys to reasonable contracts and running his mouth.

The one on Horton was pretty good too, although the B's still scored a few seconds later.

Good to have an experienced guy like Komi down with the minors to provide advice on appropriate press box behaviour. There is leadership at all levels of the organization.

Hell yeah! He doesn't even have to talk, but you know that with his skill, and tossing his body around that people will be getting pissy with him. He also makes people watch the puck and draws a lot of penalties because of his raw skill... Its just unreal.

Im really looking forward to the summer, when the cap goes down.
I believe they have about 16 players signed with a cap of 63 million or something crazy like that.

I think UG has a hfboards account... there's this poster "Disgruntled Observer" who says the Kessel trade was one of the worst things ever(not specifically hockey)... and his justification is that Kessel isn't outscoring Hamilton and Seguin combined.

Who, Kadri? Gillis's draft picks need more time to develop but I'm not holding my breath on them.
