Either the Bruins or the Blackhawks but the Bruins are in the East so if the price is the same, odds are he goes to the Bruins. Probably starts with a 1st and one of Subban or Spooner for the Bruins and a 1st and Saad or Shaw for the Blackhawks. Which ever one doesn't get Iginla, might get Jagr, depends where the Stars are because right now they're only 1 point out.
Iginla would have been perfect in Pittsburgh with Crosby. Terrifying combination. Probably won't happen because the Penguins didn't have what the Flames are looking for so they settled for Morrow. Jagr could go back to Pittsburgh too.

I sincerely doubt that Crosby and Iginla would mesh well in high-pressure situations. |

I remember them choking and ending up with the silver.
Who even wants a silver?

OK , You of all people can't be seriously advocating giving up a future star goalie AND a 1st rounder for a 35 year old rental player ?
If the Bruins can only get one point from a home at home series against the Leafs , they clearly can't be good enough to take a REAL run at it .

He looks like he's kicking him/stepping on him.....I think the league should review that and give Chara a suspension, give him the same # that Chris Simon got. |

First of all, Subban is overrated and they don't really need him because they have Rask. Secondly, they also don't need a 1st rounder because they did damn good with Seguin and Hamilton. Finally, they aren't rebuilding. They're contending for another Cup. In that situation, picks and prospects take a backseat to guys like Iginla who give them an immediate impact and increase their odds of winning a Cup immensely. |
