14 players, but you can get rid of $13+ million by saying good bye to Booth Ballard and Lu.

Kadri, and Rielly looks like the real deal.

He also drafted Gardiner while with Anaheim.

Percy looks like a good defender, too... nothing flashy, but a good top-4 dman. Wouldn't be a bad pick-up for a late first.

Meh....that's one good NHL kid so far, and it's early on him too. Time will tell, Gillis drafted Cody Hodgson who's a PPG player. That's one good kid in five years as well.

Nonis - Cammelleri might be available. Could be the number one centre they need. Richmond Hill boy!

Buy outs or trade for picks, I don't understand why he can't see the value in just getting rid of their contracts???

Wonder what it would cost to pry Cammeleri out of Calgary.

Gillis is gonna make some angry owners with the buyouts this summer. If they miss the playoffs he's fired for sure.

Agreed- but he's not as well known, so I didn't bring him up. He's one of those guys who can turn out well, but you see 20 of them in any team's prospect pool.

Percy is putting up good numbers while being a very good defensive player- looks like a guy who'll have an NHL career.

Then again, I felt the same way about Blacker a few years ago, I'm just unsure now, with the way his development has gone.

- Feeling Glucky?

He was one of the very few Leaf prospects I actually paid any attention too.
I thought he embraced his leadership role very well in Owen Sound. This is his second year in the AHL, there's still hope for him yet. Percy is a freaking beaut from what I hear. I think Finn is doing pretty well too.

I remember when everyone was ranting about how Gillis stole Booth from Florida.
- Unholy_Forward

If he could stay healthy it was an ok deal, two older players coming up to free agency for a young 20 goal scorer. Hind sight is always 20/20, now we just want him gone and give someone else a shot.

Small chance we miss the playoffs, we're winning with 5 regulars out.

Hopefully he trades them....I would hate to be him going to ownership for buyouts.

"Hey, you know those trades and really big signing I did not too long ago? Well can you throw away 10's of millions of dollars to make it look like I never did those?"

He's not a number 1 center. He is overpaid and overrated.

Canucks will make the playoffs for sure, but then get beat in the playoffs easily because they lack depth. And the Sedins slow down in the playoffs.

Nucks are one of the wealthiest teams, I don't see them balking at it, although I don't see them being happy with giving millions away either??? Who knows.
