It's clear the Leafs are going to give Kadri a shot at being the number 1. I think it's the right move. They hardly ever hit the open market anyway, and trading for one would singlehandedly gut our prospect/pick basket. I actually like our forward group now. The Leafs should sign Bozak to a reasonable ticket, and focus on acquiring a legit top four defenseman who can eat up some minutes reliably. Just mho.
