Who else could BOS target that may be enough to counter PIT's moves? I don't see anything. The price just went up to HAmilton and a 1st for Iggy + (Sarich?) - TandA4Flames
Jagr, Hemsky, Clowe
Not that I care what you think the price should be, but "Hamilton + anything" isn't even wishful thinking, it's borderline dementia. |

Well, that may be, but that's what Pit fans were saying about Calgary getting Morrow in a deal and he went for a much lesser player....
Deperation makes people do odd things. It's an arms race. May panic in response to Pit.
Ya just never know.

Jagr < Iginla in impact department (Iggy's a more complete player)
Hemsky = a pane of glass
Clowe.... has he scored a goal yet this year?
IGGY = IMPACT = MATCH TO PIT = HAMILTON + TO CGY! |
|

Bourque won the Cup while playing with the Avs for a full season, not the season he was traded
Recchi won with the 8th seed Hurricanes i believe
Not sure if Mogilny or Guerin had lists, but if so then yes - the_cause2000

Haha while I don't see it happening I don't think it's as far fetched as Bruins fans think it is. Iggy is a beast and they need a guy just like him. |

IMO...Iginla to Boston makes more sense. Theyll need more now to compete with the Pens. Iginla would get them that extra level of compete, and Rask has been playing great, even compared to Fleury.
MA Fleury 17-5-0 SV% .914 GAA 2.31 SO 1
Tuuk Rask 14-4-3 SV% .928 GAA 1.90 SO 2

Joe Morrow doesn't equal Dougie Hamilton ... in any galaxy.
I don't profess to know everything but the one thing I (and anyone with a double digit IQ or better for that matter) do know unequivocally is that Dougie Hamilton will not be traded for Iginla.

Yep, his skill is in getting pictures of GM's in compromising situations.
Honestly though he might be the least talented player to ever be a top 10 pick and play 1000+ games.

Apparently more teams have come out said to be on Jaromes's list; ANA, DET & possibly the NYR.
They all have good pieces. |

Pierre Lebrun says Penguins still very much in on Iginla...
Is Shero serious or what!?
Also...Briere out with concussion suffered at practice it seems...Flyers might need some help now...more than before... |

They haven't been that good this year, might be better to just move some guys out if they can.
As for Iggy to Pit, do they have cap space? Simon Depres available? |

To this point i've wanted Iginla to the Bruins bad(and still wouldnt oppose it)
but if Pittsburgh can still somehow work out a favourable deal to bring in Iginla that would be insane.
With Douglas Murray on their roster, capgeek shows Pittsburgh with $6,148,190 in cap space. Either Calgary takes on some salary in the return, or eats some of Iginla's cap hit. Still very do-able. |
