Probably a smart move. A lot of people are mad that CGY didn't move Iggy and Kipper 2 years ago when they were still top players. Seems like that is what DAl is doing.

Because he can. If you were in his position and were leaving the only franchise you've ever played for, wouldn't you want to maximize your chance of a cup? That's what his NMC allows him to do. It's dumb to expect him to allow a trade to a middling team. He already has that in Calgary... He's leaving to win a cup. His best chance is with a top team.

I'm thinking the list will grow as well. I can't see Iggy saying no if Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Detroit, etc... come calling wityh the best offer. Iggy has too much class for that.

What I think, is there is a list of his 4 "perfect match" type teams. But you can't tell me that if the Canes or someone blow Feaster away with an offer that he's not going to lean hard on Iggy to head south.

No kiddin' he looks like he's starting to come into form. Hopefully it boosts his trade value. I'm ok with Kipper going to CHI for a 1st + Hjalmersson or Leddy, Terravainen, Saad or other combinations; McNeil maybe.

Or TOR for Grabo or combinations of a 1st, Frasnon and Gardiner.
