Lmao because the habs could beat the other teams in the league? They have so many loser points, none of the teams behind them are scared of them. Only Pittsburgh and Boston are scary in the east. Every one else is beatable. Price sucks in the playoffs. Just saying.

Kristo to participate in the frozen four tournament?

Should be renamed the frozen foot... LOL!

- DrRecchi

Ya UND is there, but it's weird how they label it the Frozen four when there are 16 teams involved.

Habs need a physical defenseman more than anything else if they want to make a serious playoff run.
- God_then_kovy

After watching the Sabres twice last week, it's fair to say that Regher might be the perfect candidate. And Clowe to help the 3rd line (since Bourque isn't any close to returning). We can't keep Armstrong there any longer and as much as i like Dumont, he isn't the answer by any mean.

i'm calling it today! - Trade Deadline predictions

- i think MB and the Habs might be the surprise contender for the Iggy sweepstake (i wonder how the Flames feel about Patrick Holland...tho it might be too much for a rental)

- Ribeiro is gonna be a Nuck and Luongo is gonna be a cap (with more pieces going both way)

- Habs will liekyl ultimately end up with Jagr and a 3rd/4th line filler (yes i say both)

that ends my Trade Deadline predictions (tho likely no one cares)

in other news i hope the leafs can hold off their late season collapse till after their tonight's game vs the Bs go leafs go!!

So far this season, Clowe is just as bad as Travis Moen.

I doubt the Sabres make Regher available to a divisional foe when they're heating up and could make the playoffs. Armstrong will go back to the 4th line when Prust returns. I don't see the need for Clowe as much as others considering what Bourque and Prust should bring back to the lineup.

True he only has something like 11 assists, but at least Clowe hits (actually finishes them) and can drop the gloves. Moen is inexistant this year. Clowe's asking price is pretty low too. Personnally i would take Clowe over Moen any day of the week.

Having more depth, like Clowe, will come in handy during the playoffs (we tend to forget that he is a physical force even in a slump). TECHNICALLY, Clowe is much better than Prust offensively. And yes, you are right, the sudden winning streak of the Sabres might put Regher out of the trade market.

it couldnt help to have extra grit on those bottom lines though especially come playoff time...as long as its cheap

we wouldnt even have to worry about this if (frank)ING Moen would do something....anything

They only call it the final 4 when there are 4 teams left.
Guess how many teams are left when they call it the sweet 16?
