Lindros was a (frank)ing machine back in the day.

You are correct, sir. We should only speak of popsicles and flowers on these boards. Let's all talk about how great the Flyers future is, and never speak out our frustrations of the current state of this slightly less than perfect team.

Maybe he's speaking out his frustration, too. The difference is he's not fabricating some entirely illogical conspiracy about faking injuries to avoid trades the players can reject at anytime anyway.

Seth jones might very well be the only thing that can save this franchise

If Sakic can get his hand stuck in a snowblower and Theodore fall at the rink while walking on the stairs breaking his ankle, any injury can happen.

Is he even going to be the #1 pick in the draft?

Has there been any word on exactly how Briere got his concussion in practice? Like who hit him?

My money is on B. Schenn or Simmonds just to get him off their line.

I don't follow. I don't believe Briere would fake an injury, especially if there's literally no benefit to doing so right now.

I only stated that I was frustrated with briere and this perfectly timed injury just added to those frustrations because of the reasons I mentioned. I never said he was faking .. but that the timing was indeed convenient. That is all..

I can say this much before the season started I would of bet anything that they wouldn't be picking #1 overall (if it does come true).

IF he did.. and I'm not saying he did, there is a benefit.. you don't think he would piss off the fan base if he refused to waive? This would be much easier.

Fair enough, but you'll have to excuse us if the implication appears so thick you could cut it with a knife.

let's keep it grounded in reality tho, not riddled with moronic thought structure that overlooks facts and fabricates the truth to fit its own purpose.

Frankly, I sincerely doubt any veteran player is concerned about losing the type of fans who'd be upset over that. They're looking for something to get pissy about anyways.

I don't think Briere is faking an injury but it stinks that he has a concussion and probably won't be moved now (not that he was but chances are slim now).

Spector's Hockey ‏@SpectorsHockey

Darren Dreger speculates about a Sean Couturier-for-Bobby Ryan swap. I assume that would be in the off-season , not now.
