Yea he sure ruined that Ennis kid. People think because Grigorenko didn't come in and score 50 goals Lindy ruined him. Thats BS. He dosn't get top line minutes just because his name is Grigorenko. Rolston obviously thinks the same.

Where did I say he "ruined" anyone? Oh wait, I didn't.

Yeah. Funny how we haven't heard anything about Sulzer's injury though since right after it happened. Paul Hamilton said it looked like it was going to be long term, but I don't think we've actually heard anything from the team about it.

He will miss the rest of the season after having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right knee.

I had a feeling it was something like that, but it just seems like nobody really said anything about it.

So I know the talk with the Boucher firing is whether or not Ruff ends up there, but does anyone feel that Boucher could end up here?

I think they did. It was about 10 days ago or so.

I loved the way Housley had that WJC team playing. It can be a really tough task to get a group of kids to come together and be cohesive that quickly. Just look at Team Canada this year. It was loaded with talent and because the Coach had no clue what he was doing, they didn't even medal.

I'd love to see him involved here in some way. However, the fact that he has no coaching experience at even the AHL level is a bit concerning.

Housley to coach Rochester perhaps?

I was on vacation then, so that might be why I missed it. I was out of the loop enjoying the warm weather of Florida.

I wouldn't expect to see him until next year. At this point anything is just conditioning and rehab stuff.

FWIW, consensus within NHL management/coaching fraternity is TB will opt for NHL-experienced coach and if Ruff wants it, he's likely choice.

Anyone catch HNIC afterhours last night? They talked about the Kaleta-Miller flap for more than a few minutes. PJ Stock actually stuck up for Kaleta and Weekes said Miller needs to stop talking and worry about his game. That tool Glen Healy called out Bucky Gleason by name and sh*t-talked Kaleta, predictably so, I might add. I like it that Kaleta has even gotten into the heads of guys like Milbury and Healy, who can barely mask their ties to the Bruins and Leafs while speaking during national broadcasts.

Also, Bucky Gleason had some pretty good ideas about Sabres management in his column this morning:

Definitely. I was so disappointed that his season ended so soon. I thought this was really going to be a great year for him. He's the kind of spark plug that this team could have used early on.

Hopefully the rehab continues to progress and there aren't any setbacks or anything.

It's a shoulder injury, so they're not sure how long it's going to be. They don't know the full extent of the injury yet, according to this article on nhl.com:

Good to hear. He's the forgotten one in all of this. Hopefully this injury doesn't set him back to far in his career.

Edit: btw, not off topic at all.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him rush back. It would be a mistake for that to happen though. He won't be anywhere near as effective if he's still dealing with the injury.

I just saw in their site that he will be out 2-4 weeks.
So, he will definitely miss the Sabres game!
