I dont mean to rail on Bryz but having a tough time hearing he always exhausted. i never hear Broduer, Lundqvist, Rinne say they are tired...you might be tired but not a fan of telling media you are, keep that in dressing room..I agree with Lavy playing him a lot.

Thats why they spent all that money!!! Leaders never make excuses...

I would be one of the members on the "buy out Bryzgalov" club...

Too much of a coincidence with Briere. Have a feeling their buying time for possibly a trade so he doesn't really get injured. Healthy scratch wouldn't look good for trade value. Brieres head is prob in the clouds over the rumors there's your UBI

I blame the coach. Needs to put Briere in a better position to produce.

Problem is he started the season with an injury, he has a nmc and if they are trading him they've basically given up on the playoffs because thats where his real value is so playing him while looking for a trade partner is irrelevant. Being hurt impacts trade value probably more so than being a healthy scratch.

I'm saying we have no idea so why say that he is? Maybe he is and maybe he isn't, but I highly doubt he is an wouldn't say I know either way
- funmaster18

All I said was that last week I said he'd come up injured so he wouldn't be traded and all of sudden he has injury even though they haven't played in a week. It is a little suspicious id say. That's all. Moving on...

Giving up on making the playoffs? This team is dead in the water.

but being a tradeing partner with san jose wouldn't be a bad idea they desperately need to shake up their roster because they dont' have the right players for their system

THere's nothing suspicious about a hockey player suffering an injury when he was already injured to start the season and quite possibly has been nursing the injury all of a sudden. Injuries are alluded to/feared/hoped for etc. constantly amongst flyer fandom and lo and behold they happen. Before the start of the season it was debated whether or not Pronger could be effective with all the injuries he suffered and then bam a freak accident happens. Regardless of injury history or not we lost a tremendous force for the club due to a freak accident. But I guess all those people who said the injuries would take a toll saw the future?

There is so much panic over who would replace a guy who is paid like a consistent elite goaltender however fails to live up to that.

Backstrom via FA. Bishop or Hiller via trade. Other options are always out there, simply have to look and see the possibility. Blind fear of who will replace him is another option.

There are much cheaper goaltenders that provide the incosistent level of play Bryzgalov has brought.
