Is this the "terrible" Bryz that needs to get bought out?

95% of the time, Bryz is a above-average goalie who can be a difference maker, especially against the league's top offense. Let's drop this whole "buyout" business......

In the last game these two teams played in Philly.. I still don't understand why Lavi stopped using him after the great first period he had(1 goal 1ast as I remember...

That game (which I attended) was my breaking point for Lavi. Keeping Rinaldo's minutes short, being unfair to both goalies by pulling Bryz and putting in Boosh, etc.

is it possible that a 1-0 can hold with 20 minutes left? doesn't seem likely. so much of pittsburgh's puck possession comes from turnovers along the wall in their own end. it's amazing how bad they are at clearing the zone - even simple plays with both d behind the net and no pressure - they mishandle it and it turns into a clown show.

gervais out there against crosby late in the period. eeesh.

I would only be scared if the Flyers were tied going into the 3rd. Now, I'm cautiously optimistic.

Seeing as the Flyers goals per game has been dreadful lately and Bryz has played well for the most part all season, the goalie position gets criticized WELL after the forwards and defensemen.

Yeah.. I was there too.. cry;....I also was furious when they took Bryz out. Wasn't his fault.. team was coasting.. Bo and I were talking about that after the game.. I guess coaches have bad games too.

I'd love to see that happen, but I think that if we get a W we will have to score the next goal here.. up 2-0.. maybe we can hold and win 2-1..

interesting to see if flyers come out and do their patented sittting back, getting the play taken to them, and getting 3 or less shots on nets, or if they show some heart and play balls to the wall
