There is a flip side to that coin. Buffalo played their portion of the schedule where they barely had any rest. Other teams have not. In this shortened season that means either backup goalies will get more starts down the stretch or Lundqvist and Ellis will be worn down.

when i was down in Oklahoma in January Paajarvi was benched for most of the AHL game I went to

if the kid is getting benched at the AHL level there is a problem, according to the coaches down there he absolutely refuses to play defense

By the deadline I def wanna see Leopold, Regehr & Hecht gone. That are all UFA & not part of the future here, so get what we can.
I actually think Stafford will end up getting a good return, so I expect him to be moved too...
