Hodgson looks good. Raped the Canucks on the Kassian trade.

I wanted the Leafs to sign Ott, keep him. Hard to find players like that.

serious. goalies are replaceable. swap enroth with any of the ones on that list and the team is no better or worse.

I think he is my favorite hockey player since the previous lockout ended. I have wanted him to be a sabre since we let briere and drury walk

Before my time....wish I could've seen them played. I loved Hannan & Presley. I got into hockey around 91-92. I went to my first game when I won tickets from a raffle at a James Lofton autograph signing. Went to the game and they destroyed the Bruins and I was hooked! LaFontaine, Mogilny and Audette had a monster game. If memory serves it was something like 7-4 with Audette picking up the hatty and he quickly became my 1st favorite Sabre.

Very true on Hodgson. Otter is good for sure and has a lot of grit but he is sadly not a first line player but only in buffalo.

Good old donald audette . The big thing the sabres lacked back then and prevented them from a championship with mogilny and lafontaine was a real goalie. Darren poopa and clint malarchuck were terrible. I have been watching since 86 and absolutely loved wathcing that team win or loss they were entertaining to say the least.

Kaleta is a dirty player who gets suspended every year and takes bad penalties on a regular basis. He also rarely ever fights and 90% of the time turtles when someone try's to fight him he is a straight up puss true story.

I have been a sabres fan since 86 i am just not a homer.. lol I base things on facts and stats not homerish opinions. The only thing kaleta has besides not scoring goals and not fighting is his intensity he brings every game but that really does not do a whole lot. His intensity is what gets him in the box and suspended. Yes he draws penalties as well but that is because he turtles.

I really like him, and would love the Sabres to keep him but if some team is going to offer the earth and the sun (we'll never get the moon too) then I'd deal him. He isn't going to be here/ or at the level he's currently at when the Sabres are a true contender again.

Ill tell you what i will look back at every year he has been on the team just for you and tell you how many times he has been suspended or fought someone and how many points he has had when he is not injured. And i do not make things up hate to break the news flash.

No wonder why we are the joke of the NHL, Pegula has no business owning a pro team with not knowing how to run one. Better keep digging for oil Terry.

He's been in 17 NHL fights and 13 AHL fights.....that's 30 professional fights. That's plenty for somebody you said turtles 90% of the time....thats just not true.

You forgot to mention that he is our best penalty killer.

Why does it bother you that he takes punches in the face so his team can go on the PP. That should be applauded, not admonished.

Some players are on the team to get points, other's have different roles. Kaleta's job is to hit, raise the team's energy, draw and kill penalties. Teams don't win with scorers alone.

His value is something I'm happy to debate and can see both sides.

What I hate reading, from our fans most of all, is that he is a wuss. He is the furthest thing from a wuss.

they have been offered a first round pick for him, its still on the table. No I do not know what teamed offered it, but I know the Sabres "brass" is divided on if they should do it or not.
