Thats a very dynamic top 6 Clouts...however I don't think the oilers have playoff success until they get a big, dominant 1/2 centre that can compete against the big boys in the West. Nuge & Gags are skilled players no doubt, but I don't like their chances in a playoff series against other top teams centres like Toews, Getzlaf, Sedin/Kesler, Thorton, Kopitar, Backes. Its too bad they didn't pursue J. Staal more last season, I think he would have been a great piece for this team. Unless Nuge beefs up a lot this offseason, I see him struggling against the bigger, stronger centres |

The safe and easy course of action is to just sign Smid. A trade requires creativity and balls. Which do you think Tambo does? |

Arguably the other one is better defensively and this one is better offensively. Other than that no real difference. |

I'm not saying im some expert on Galchenyuk but there's no way, after watching Yakupov for the last 29 games, im choosing him over Nail.
Yaks is fast, incredibly skilled and he has a fire lit under his butt every shift. With the exception of Nuge, i'd say hes the most skilled player in probably 3 years. (to be drafted) Once he finds his place on this team he's going to be unstoppable. A 21 year old Yak with confidence is terrifying. Look the (frank) out. |

Idk. Seguin plays on a line with last year's selke winner. Hall's underlying numbers are incredible, I guarantee if he was playing with Marchand and Bergeron he'd be a +20 too. Landeskog is probably better than Nuge size wise and and a little bit defensively but Nuge has been playing the opposition's best players too and has really been developing his D game |

Nuge is a better offensive player, Landeskog is a better intangible player.
IMO, it'll be a wash on whose better. |

I'm predicting EDM finishes where the are right now, picking 9th overall. My guess is they pick Rasmus Ristolainen. Big Finn D already plays 20+ mins a night for TPS turku. |

That sounds okay. I'm glad we're over this "tank ONE more time" philosophy. |

If we are ever in a position where Fedun is a regular in our line up... I swear upon all that is holy that I will switch allegiance to the Flames.
Clouts... please drop the Fedun lovin' show... he has NEVER been any more then AHL fodder.
End of story

At least the leafs, who are the 2nd youngest team in the league are in a playoff spot while playing in a much harder division this year. I know we could thank Kadri for that. If only one of the Oilers many 1st overall picks could lead their team to the playoffs. Oh wait. - Allstarzz

I'm sorry, but have you watched him play in the AHL? By no means do I guarantee he'll ever be an NHL Dman, but to say that there's no chance is foolish. He's poised in possession, makes good passes, is quite fleet of foot considering last season's injury (but by no means an outstanding skater), and he makes smart reads in the defensive end. I could realistically see him cracking a roster at some point as a 5/7 guy that gives a solid and reliable 14-18 minutes a night. Again, though, no guarantees. |
